My Zillow short did well. Made $987 shorting 10k in shares. Fundamentals got much worse, and they are laying off 25% of their workforce. And I read articles on the stupid house flips they were losing on. Shorted it an hour or so, walked away, came back and closed it. When the fundamentals deteriorate so bad, I just short and walk away.

Lost 676 on TSLA though, for a net of profit for the day of 311 (trading 100k). Made all sorts of mistakes on TSLA, distracted with pesky real life situations (a no-call no-show and taking son for covid test). I should have ended in the green, but also got hammered right before Fed speaking also.

Truth be told, I this was a 1% day, until I got distracted. I don't do real well if I'm aggravated, and I'm extremely aggravated today at the Employee today. I'd do better if I could trade in a bubble.

Needed a little patience, but that FDX play I made is paying dividends. Up almost 10% now with holiday season around the corner.

bloodbath* aside if you look at the technicals theres a massive cup and handle on the yearly as well massive bullflags on the monthly/3mo. given other considerations and short interest this is not over yet.
*still up over 100% just ya know... "you got 500% gains man?"

Cathie and ARKK sold 2.8 million shares of Zillow today. And no, the price did not go up today. It was down 25%. I honestly think she rolls a six sided die every day to see if she buys/sells/holds each stock each day. ARKK is negative YTD.

Meanwhile SPY is up 26% YTD.

I know people love hitting home runs, but man, when fund managers miss, they miss big.
