The number of teenagers I see working in jobs that were always supposed to go to teenagers in the first place is quite a good sign that the economy might finally be departing from the 40+ years of wage stagnation that we've had to deal with, and some of these kids are making 15-20 dollars an hour.

There is no downside to low unemployment, articles like that are all just grifting and FUD from anti-worker punditry.

When has anything Goldman Sachs ever said or done been to benefit anyone other than Goldman Sachs? Why would anyone trust anything they say?

Teenagers aren't usually eligible for unemployment, hence why there's no correlation there. In fact, if you look at the labor participation charts, they're the only group that's back to pre pandemic levels of employment. Mostly because it's their only source of income.

I've been buying uranium equities for the past 3 years now as a long term/contrarian investment and after a brutal 11 year year bear market things finally look to be turning the corner. I've been studying this industry for years now and in the early 2020's the world is looking at a substantial shortfall of mined supply.

Some companies I like.

CCJ - Major blue chip producer

NXE, DML - Explorers and developers

UEC, URG, UUUU - Small cap producers (stable and based in the U.S)

URA - ETF tracking the entire industry.

Has anyone else bought uranium mining stocks or is this still off the radar? I made this post in 2017 lol.

This sectors had a major turn around since with a potential squeeze coming up. Lot of gains to be made here.

Please keep your politics out of this thread.

What's your #1 conviction play in the sector?

Guh.
It's a tough call. Most or the plays (ODFL, UNP etc) are already pushing the envelope on the high side. They might still run higher but it's risky to be buying in at this point.

I was actually asking Strifen for his #1 play in the uranium sector, but I always appreciate tips brother :emoji_thumbsup:

ODFL chart is sexy AF. It's on my watchlist, but I feel like I missed the train there.

I missed a limit order on ODFL back near Black Monday in the low 100's. It never gave me another chance to grab it.

Guh.

I don't know why, but whenever I see that posted in response to some loss porn on wsb, I crack up lol. It's definitely part of my inner monologue right now. Just saying "Guh" in my head in response to things, and laughing internally like an idiot.

What a time to be alive.

I'm in heavy on Energy Fuels, UUUU on the NYSE. Second would be Denison Mines, DNN. Think both have the potential to meme on wsb once this uranium supply squeeze takes hold. If you don't want to carry the risk of the miners you can invest in Sprott Physical Uranium Trust. When you look at the macro trends, governments around the world are waking up to the fact that you need nuclear power as part of the energy mix as low carbon baseload power. The price of uranium is $45 and most miners need at least $80-90 to bring production back, can see it overshooting to $200.

I'm already in on positions in DNN and my ETF of choice in the area which is URNM. Both have been very nice performers this year for me....

Oh very nice. Glad I'm not alone here. URNM is being taken over by Sprott sometime next year. The ETF is really solid and I would prefer it over URA.

Short term the stocks had a big run up and might pull back a bit, medium to long term is very bullish.
