The real conclusion that I learned is why these things happen and it puts a clearer picture for me where money goes and why, not necessarily the illustration that they are inversed, i guess, I at least have a good idea now that there is opportunity on the horizon and it isn't just a death spiral for the markets where everyone just goes and buys bonds, that yield dries up pretty quick and itll give more incentive for stocks, even in a higher interest environment.Zog this seems a bit harsh in retrospect. Didn't mean to be an asshole, just more of a check on you that you thought you were coming to some grand conclusion, but it's really something taught in intro business school (undergrad).
I have pretty thick skin and was going to reply but I probably cant put into words what exactly im doing, more of bullshitting and seeing where others can chime in and hopefully give their perspective on things.
Ive been incredibly lucky in my trading thus far but I didn't have any idea WHY I was lucky and now with things getting a bit spicier, its time to learn. Chasing short squeezes is not where I want to be in 2022

More people are picking up on the name as a metaverse play it's possible it sees 20-40% days if WSB crowd starts taking notice. I'm kind of hoping that doesn't happen as I'd rather just a consistent grind higher that is more sustainable as the temptation to sell if the market decides it wants to drive it up to 40-60B mkt cap or some nonsense.

Feel for you man but this definitely not a name I would have sold calls against. It's very volatile would not surprise me if it gives you a chance to get back in at $25 if they take your shares.

Lots of the travel sector beat up today. NCLH down 8% (amplified losses due to offering announcement).
DAL down over 3% and quite easily gave up the 100D moving average.
I think we are going to test new ranges on these, considering markets are flirting all time highs but these travel names are giving up lots of strong support levels. If the market pulls back, who knows how low these can get.

My OTLY play last week isn't looking so great. I'm down 22% on that one. Post IPO lockup expires this week as well so if it gets another dip from that I will just buy a bunch more!
On the bright side I still have a bunch of LCID. Some of it I over paid for the day they announced the merger and some of it I got when they had that big dip down in the $16's after the PIPE.

Had orders in on MPC, WMT, ATVI, and DKNG got close but no fills in my portfolio, on my daughters portfolio I did add WMT and ATVI today. Not crazy about the ATVI but I'm willing to take the risk that it will be higher in the coming years. Will probably protect any pop in the stock with stops though, not a high conviction buy.

ack I figured it was in an retirement shelter. Hmm you could buy protection, probably expensive on a high flier though. That's a tough spot to be in.
