Big rally first or second week of September, calling it now.

Anyone else make bank on SQQQ today?

I just don't see the "why," which is what I've been saying the past several months.

Commodities are all up again, PPI is astronomical, inflation hasn't even been remotely lowered. What's this magic economic indicator I'm missing where markets will be like "time to buy!"

I'm not saying the rally won't flush out later in the month.

Traders gotta look busy.

Best day in memory, probably best single day gains since I started trading

Now we just need about 2 more like that and I'll be happy

Pretty thankful for this AVAYA trade opp if only for teaching me to actually take profits for once.

I set a GTC limit order to sell at 1.55 that executed for me while I wasn't paying attention yesterday. Came back to the computer yesterday and it was sitting in the 1.20's and kinda panicked bc I thought I'd screwed the pooch, but got an email last night that the limit order executed.

I've usually invested with the intention to sit on something forever bc I couldn't get over the tax event. But, yesterday definitely taught me a lesson. Now I have free money sittin in my account that's all upside. I guess I should've taken a little more profit bc taxes, but all-in-all I think this was a win for me. And it could continue to be a bigger win. Even if it's a loss I don't really lose.

You only pay taxes if you make money. Paying taxes is a good sign and nothing to be afraid of.

230,000 troops suffered hearing damage before someone said I don't think these things are working right?
It really is a clown outfit now.

Hearing loss is usually progressive.

Although generally you get a hearing test pre/post deployment, so you kind of have an idea how it's going.

I will say this is an interesting case to me, because I actually saved my earplugs and they're the kind from the lawsuit. I saved them because I thought they were fucking amazing. By far the best earplugs I'd ever used.

My hearing baseline when I joined vs 6 years later on my exit physical were pretty close.

Ya I get that, I still hear ringing in my ears from decades of jobsite shit but I also remember the days shit was real loud, it was pretty obvious damage was being done.
Is this "flaw" over sound or pressure?

Are there limit orders to prevent losses?

I guess that'd be a stop loss. How do you do this in Fidelity?
