Tesla down a fair bit.

Free cash flow down by -80%

Model S and X not selling. (No wonder with consumers feeling the pinch)

If we get a few days of dumping I will circle back and add back some that I sold for profit.

The biggest problem with TSLA stock is charting it is a bitch. Shit could drop all the way back down to $100 and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Dunno how it is in the US but over here Tesla now sells only two versions of the model S, for 105k and 129k respectively. It's not remotely competitive at that price. You can get an all-electric Audi Q8 or BMW IX for less than 80k.

tbh I think they're going to axe the model S soon, it's getting long in the tooth and other manufacturers have caught up to it.

Buzzfeed down another 25%~ on news of 15% layoffs and possibly shutting down their news division. Love to see it

Still 71 cents overvalued.

Why would they have any employees when they can just have GPT write all their articles?

Now that the market seems to have cooled its tits I'm looking to start selling some puts again. Right now I like AMD weeklies in the 85-86 range based on the chart and the premium. Anyone else got any current favorites for writing puts? I need something with a lower strike to fill in the gaps since AMD puts are 8600 a contract

They’re definitely in need of updates, but the Q8 isn’t a great comparison. The MS smokes it on specs, and I imagine the Q8 has a more luxurious interior. The IX is closer but still around 25% less range for the same price (at least in the US). I'd say the IX is better compared to the Model X. Isn't there larger/nicer BMW EV than whatever the I3/I4 equivalent is that's been out for a bit?

IX M50 is about the exact same price as the standard model S and has the same range. It's up to debate if it's prettier but it's at least a fresh design and the interior is better quality. Plaid closes in on i7 territory pricewise (129k vs 144k) and the i7 is like 4 leagues above in it in interior quality. I'm going off EU prices so might not be the same in the US.

Tesla is faster 0-60 in both cases although one wonders how many buyers still make that the deciding factor when all of them will do 0-60 in under 5 seconds.

New 5 series with a full electric version will be unveiled next month and be in production this summer, that's probably going to be the most direct competitor to the model S from BMW. I'd expect it to be in the 65-80k price range.
