MSFT order popped at $363. I'm overweight, but like the price here. Still got hope for my AAPL order at $190. Added an order for AMD at $81 which I doubt will hit but anything is possible.

I wish I had some money to invest. I guess inflation is alright though, since I went all in and more with 1% fixed rate, 25 years credit to purchase housing.

Apple has a gap down on the daily around the mid 173 area, we close that and I may buy a little. Gaps down in 158 area and at least 1 more I think mid 140s.

If you are gap voodoo believer.

Otherwise, huge chunk of my money is just going into voo as we fall. Catching a falling knife, but its the money I was gonna put in earlier this year and didnt. (dont remember why, but it wasnt any real reason, think I made my annual contribution and just didnt allocate it)

SPY new lows of day. Dipped <510
It's now negative for the last year (not just YTD).

This is definitely a special market crash. Usually these things take like half a year to really get going. This one's been a little over a month. Wonder when the bleeding stops.

The whole thing is retarded, because no actual impacts have been felt on the economy yet. No one actually knows if these tariffs will have the impact that the selling implies (nor if the tariffs even stick). The market is massively overreacting here.

MSFT trailing PE is now under 30. It hasn't been under 30 since Dec of 2022. Its RSI is 30.
GOOGL trailing PE is 18.5. It hasn't been this low since 2012. Its RSI is 29

Everyone in my household have multiple pairs of shoes around 10, I won’t be hiring a guy to cut down any trees and I have my own pole saw and yard equipment, I mowed and trimmed my trees as well as power washed my driveway sidewalk house and the windows, cleaned my gutters, had to get all my shit done, new league this weekend.

My coffee prices are going to go up, how much? More than what they already went up during the Biden administration? I already feel relief at the grocery store, my wife used to joke her weekly trip to the grocery store was like making a car payment(450) now it’s an insurance payment (300) one thing the Biden administration taught me was to be frugal and not spend on stupid stuff, nothing you said even remotely makes me blink.
You're seriously saying that not only did inflation drop on groceries, that it's -50% in the last month?

I do the grocery shopping for my house and can tell you that at best prices are relatively flat this year.

Maybe your wife changed her spending patterns, but prices are not going down 50%.

Picked up some GOOGL into the close. I have some legitimate thoughts about AI and its possible impact on GOOGL. But I am also a greedy fucker and it sitting at a trailing PE from a 13-year low got the better of me. I may still consider dumping my entire stake in GOOGL at some point, but I think its far enough in the future that this buy makes me some money before that occurs.

My adds today:
AAPL
GOOGL
JPM
MSFT
NVDA

My main portfolio is fully invested and my smaller ones are nearly so after today. Depending on what happens next week I might push some cash from the HYSA into the brokerage account.

BTO NVDA $93P
STO NVDA $94P

I'm hoping share price drops a fair bit so i can profit from the put while being assigned at basically $90 cost basis.

BTC holding steady and slightly up on the day, and Gold is just down a little compared to the market overall.

BTC closely followed the SPY/QQQ the last couple of corrections we've had, whereas this time it isn't. A sign of hidden underlying stability maybe?

BTC almost always loses 2-3x what QQQ loses when the market corrects. This is definitely an anomaly.

Would love to believe that we are finally seeing some kind of decoupling. After all, this scenario is exactly what BTC was built for-- having been born out of the 2008 financial crisis. The whole idea is that BTC can theoretically operate totally independent from things like tariffs, inflation, random governmental whims, etc.

It's never actually made the leap from speculative asset to hedge, but this is definitely the kind of situation that could promulgate that kind of shift.

All that said, it's way, way too early claim anything like that now imo. Lets see where we go in the next few weeks. For example, not sure if there's any truth to it, but I'm reading that MSTR/GME/MARA buys are what is keeping BTC steady.

Make it make sense, what the fuck?
Algos. Retail investors were huge buyers yesterday (see my quote from earlier)

The reality is the algos are driving broad market decline even against companies with little to no exposure (US health Insurance companies for example). Don't look for rational explanations. Find quality being sold off and buy the shit out of it and then be patient. We are literally living the "buy when the blood is running in the streets" moment right now.
