Really curious on what will happen to GameStop after all the buzz and hype is gone. I wonder if the lack of hype as the shorts play out will creat a vacuum. Could this kill them?
the fundamental changes imo are not enough to complete with Amazon/Walmart/bestbuy in the gamer space. Q4 earnings clearly boosted by new console sales and super low pandemic era targets.
also, what happens if GameStop releases more shares in the very near future? I imagine there is a huge regulation problem with that right now.

I half think the shorts will never end. Boomer logic says start shorting once Melvin and the big institutions are out, but that may just keep this thing going to the moon. We''ll see I guess. In any case it sure is entertaining.

That's the hilarious part. Technically shorting these companies was the correct play. GME started because they were naked shorts and for well over the total value of all stock issued.
At a certain point though, shorting all these meme stocks would be the right play as none of them are worth this. But good luck timing that shit.
Side note is I started reading WSB after that Chamath interview on CNBC. I love that they call themselves retards all the time. "We're a bunch of retarded monkeys that took all your money."
