Anecdotal observation: My Mom went into a regular (non Super) Walmart yesterday. Called to let me know that they were converted down to only one checkout line with a cashier. Everything else had been converted to self-checkout and employees verifying receipts. There is your $15 min wage laws in action. Just like every non-cuck economist said would happen.
I live in a touristy area now and pretty much everywhere you go has a sign up apologizing for slow service because they're short on workers.

In fact, nearly all the workers are teenagers. I figure because they actually need the income and don't qualify for unemployment. All the adults have fucked off for their "UBI."

Speaking of UBI. My capstone class for my Econ degree including examinations of one of the original UBI case studies up in Canada. Pretty much what is happening in the US is exactly what happened up there. Lazy fucks living off other people's free money and refusing to work.

It was my criticism in one of the threads we discussed UBI here. It's a solution to a problem we don't have yet. "What about automation?"

How about we get to a point where that matters before disincentivizing everyone from working?

Last couple times I've been through the drive through I've had to do that "pull up and someone will bring your order" shit because they're all so short handed.

Here is a link for those who hadn't heard about the Canada experiment.

July holiday weekend is start of the bigger summer slowdown. It technically starts in June, but yea.. I expect low volume chop this month.

I am actually setting off on a big family road trip today and dont expect to be trading anything until August.

PLTR back to the toilet I guess.
Looks like it bounced hard off of intermediate overhead resistance. This may not be anything out of the ordinary.

My guess today (July 1st) going into holiday weekend: Book some profits and start the 2H green. Enjoy vacation. Come back later when things pick up.

Sold NFLX at $335. Made almost 10%. It didnt pop back after the sell-off the way I expected. 10% is 10%.

Chinese EVs doing well. Hit my 30 percent gain in two of them and sold out. Its taken me months to master the art of selling and locking in profits, but its the way.
