doesn't look like we're getting what we want here
Oh god I had closed active trader for the day now you made me re open. The puts I sold at $5 are already below $4. THis could ruin everything. I don't want a dead cat bounce :( Bounce tomorrow after red open dammit. Worse case I'll take my $10k or whatever tomorrow morning and re evaluate if we open green. Really not what we want to see here for a sustainable bounce.

Didn’t China tell everrang to keep paying the CCP what it’s owed. I doubt they give a fuck if bond holders get screwed.

Also Dow 8000!!

Shit is WAY too risky with China threatening to invade Taiwan every other day. I want in on AMD badly, but that shit is just too volatile.
True, but if they go in on Taiwan the entire market is fucked. It basically destroys every tech company not Intel.

25%+ profit on puts I sold and posted in real time, nailed almost the exact bottom (a few mins/points off) of today's move.

Isn't this all just theatre and/or negotiating tactics? I can't recall the R's ever not caving and eventually raising the ceiling.
The debt must flow!

It's as predictable every year as the pumpkin spice latte's and every year the media likes to talk about how critical it is and how we are all doomed.

I want this dip to buy me a new truck, I should be posting fear bear porn. Will be buying tomorrow morning if we are red. No more buys today.
It's not unexpected, but now that we're not putting money away anymore, it's a lot more noticeable. Today at one point we were down close to 9 months of yearly expenses.

Retirement is going to be stressful. I'll probably check out of this thread for good in a month.

Personally and I have nothing to back that up have felt for a while the stock market gains have been because of an influx of money and money that literally had nowhere else to go.

... What kind of a shit product doesn't work "correctly" unless everyone else is also using that same exact product?

Imagine if your emails didn't format or send correctly unless every one of your recipients was also using the same exact email product. It's absurd.
I believe Pfizer and Moderna need your address so they can send by an Uber to take you to the re-education camp now....

Nothing is private in China. Every company is an arm of the PRC, especially 300 billion dollar ones.

Will be interesting to see if PRC props this up. They love not losing face and being seen as strong and capable.
I figure the PRC will do some simple math.. First, they won't let the companies not pay the PRC their cut/money. Then past that they will look at which they would benefit more from, saving some face, or watching all the foreign investors get left holding 20 pounds of monkey shit in a 10 pound bag. That will decide if they bail anything out.

Any vangaurd users who can give me some of their decent etf tickers I can reallocate someone too. They’re 35 yo and have this as their mix. I was like wtf bonds? This is for long term investing but at 35 I think it could be more aggressive. Account is a year old and hasn’t made shit.

If not, no biggy. I can research vanguard’s ETFs I just don’t really want to make an account just to do that, I’m on fidelity.
