And remember bond yields are inverse of bond prices so yields go up when prices go down. Prices go down when people sell them.

Goldman Sachs is out with a somewhat contrarian take on inflation.finance.yahoo.com
Retail has to make it through Thanksgiving where people can't buy all the food they want. Nobody will go hungry but choices get less and less each day. Then make it through Christmas where a ton of stuff is still sitting on ships outside the docks in CA.
Too many bucks chasing too few goods. Almost as if pumping printed money into the money supply while at the same time having reduced supply of goods causes inflation or something. Who would have guessed?
Other than that everything looks just fine.
Waiting for a cash for clunkers 2.0 so a 5 year old truck is now worth $75k.

Yes, I am long on Intel for this reason. They're going to start producing other companies' chips in the US over the next few years, and they're likely to get a big handout to do it.

Took my profits out of short term energy ETF a week or so ago of right at up 30% in a little more than 3 weeks. Oddly enough the bottom is falling out of the price of oil and the energy ETF is still going up. Still in the camp of a lot of money that nobody knows what else to do with.
