Had to step out to pick up the kid. Wowza, NVDA cracked $318. If they have even the slightest disappointment in earnings next week, it is going to get absolutely annihilated. There's only so long this "AI hypetrain" nonsense can last. Every swinging tech dick CEO is out the screaming AI from the mountaintops pumping their stocks. I have said it before and will say it again, "AI" is 2023s version of "Metaverse" 2021. Even the slightest mention of metaverse in 2021 pumped a ticker like no other. And we all know how that turned out.
I have no doubt AI will change things, but investors are getting WAY ahead of themselves here. Fuck, isn't AMD trading a P/E of 430 here? Insanity.

That said, I'm sure there will be a chance to buy back in at <270 again.

Yea, I don’t get that opinion at all. AI does work and will definitely change the ways business operate… that said it definitely has limitations and problems, like lying, that bring a measure of risk with it. It’s definitely here to stay though.

AI will slowly work it's way into a very large number of products, many of them in enterprise.
That said, you don't need a bunker full of 25000 GPUs to run any of those products. You don't need any GPUs of your own to run those products.
That said, I think generative AI will help 'metaverse' make a comeback. Virtual worlds and AR where everything doesn't have to be built by hand, and where AI can smooth out the gaps, makes it a lot easier to get off the ground.

Sold out my NVDA and AMD. Love them both but that was some nice coin in my pocket. I am 100% sure I will be buying back into both at some point at a lower price.

Markets really shot up today. New YTD high. We're almost at 10% up for the year. Granted, after such a shit year last year that's not really meaningful.
Wondering if we keep this rally up or go back to our sideways moves.
My original prediction at the start of the year was that we'd see a fall at the start (which we didn't really) and now is about when we'd start to see the rally to finish the year (think I said around 28% total?).
