its been single digits here a few days, meh, dunno what all the hubub is about. its been that cold before, in the old days we used to use a word to describe this phenomena.

we used to call it winter.

So is watching desk jockeys cry about cold when the only thing they do in it is walk to and from their car for 30 seconds at a time. Sunday it was -20 all day long and the wind was blowing like crazy and I was out in it all morning trying to unfreeze water. On Monday the sun was shining and it was 5 above and I was actually thinking "man it's nice out today" just because it was so much worse the day before.

It's surprising how quickly you get acclimated to cold. Today it's +30 out and I feel like I don't even need to wear a jacket.
