What the actual fuck. Not only am I surprised that this pile has over $450k raised thus far, but beyond that there are 4 times as many $180 deluxe edition pledges than there are $120 standard edition pledges. Both price points are absurd, but 4x as many people are willing to pay the even higher absurd price?


Honestly I'm more and more leaning toward just jumping into the easy ideological product space.

I really dig the art style and already have the digital files, but I wanted the physical tiles for at-home games. I went all-in and got a copy of everything they offer. It was $410, but for the sheer amount of stuff you get, it's definitely not a bad deal. I did some quick napkin math and it comes out to less than $15 a map and quite a few of them are massive. For example - The Marble Sanctum is 3 large floors.

The shipping being free in the U.S. is super nice too. With the huge pile of tiles I'm going to get, it would have cost me $50+.

Occasionally, I'll go to Kinko's or another print shop to have a map printed and I'm always blown away with how expensive it is. And sometimes a faggot at the counter will give me shit about issues with copyright. I'm like, wtf man? I'm just going home to play D&D.

Didn't see this posted, but there's enough love for the franchise that I figured I should.

Imo, these are better than collabs anyway, I much prefer original characters, fits the theme and feel better than "oh, my barbarian is gonna fight spiderman."

Dwarvenforge is doing s gsmefound for their dungeons reformed. I'm picking up a few of the sets with some of thr new parts. And a few with the new combined hard to get parts.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I don't frequent KS much anymore and I would have missed this. Dice Throne is my favorite PvP board game. I liked DTA as well, although it is light on the dungeon crawling elements. Can't wait to see how their "strong box" packaging works, sounds like an improvement over the current packaging.

[EDIT] Also too bad they didn't make this earlier, the new characters would have been perfect for Halloween! Ah well, maybe next year.

Glad they’re returning to their own characters. I got both the marvel ones but much prefer their characters.

I mean like. Damn lol. But at the same time I kinda get that. I know this ain't the place for this. But like I feel most rpg stuff gets that kind of folk to gravitate towards it.

People say oh well thats the norm. And all I can think is the norm for who? I've been DMing for almost 20yrs. And all my players of which there's bee dozens over the years. We've played the most heterosexual 1980s Conanesque high fantasy games.

Have you ever been to a game convention or a general board game meetup outside your friend group? (Rhetorical, I know you have) Every company and probably 80%+ of board gamers are like that.

You're 100% correct, but I have major issues with the creator (Stefan Pokorny) and the terrain is retard-tier expensive. The combo made it an easy pass where as I can overlook the faggotry of other creators and their less expensive products.

I wasn’t really making a statement about not buying this in particular, I don’t blame you it’s expensive af. I’ve seen it in person and it’s impressive but no way. Was just saying I hope politics doesn’t drive all your game buying decisions cause you may as well quit the hobby.

The best I hope for in the hobby are people that don’t talk politics and just game. Oh and also have good hygiene. Sounds like you’re the same.

Politics doesn't impact all of my purchases or I wouldn't buy much anything in the TTRPG space, at all. However, I am well-aware of the fact that a lot of the creators absolutely despise me (straight, white, Trump-supporting, Conservative male) and I won't give money to the ones that are openly hostile, but I do buy things from people that disgust me.

And yes, I have great hygiene. I don't even remotely fit the stereotype of D&D player. Most people are stunned when I tell them I play.

That Stefan dude always was a bit odd. Bit I mean I havnt met a gamer, especially tabletop ones, thats aren't lol.

I aawthwir old resin ones way back when. That shit was $$$ compared to this dwarvenite stuff.
