i take friends who don't like lobster to a chinese restaurant(not take out) and order a whole cantonese style lobster for them, or if they're really good friends and we happen to be in ny, i'll ask dad to cook it. white ppl can't cook lobster, just boiling that cockroach alive is silly. Even sticking a sharp knife vertically in a lobsters head is the pansy way. My dad rips the head right off the shell (while alive). I've only butchered a lobster twice in this way, and that's with dad supervising cuz you gotta swing a meat cleaver with a passion in order to get through that shell (the claw and the joint right before it). Then you cook it the cantonese way and it'll be the best lobster you've had... otherwise everyone just baths that boiled piece of cockroach in butter and more butter...

i hope it stays open long enough for chef ramsay to do a return visit and amy wants his help this time. If her hubby is deported, i imagine shes got to come to reality that her place is ass. i wanna see that bitch squirm.

If my buisness was a money laundering front I would totally wanna bring as much attention to it as possible. Ya know, like by being on t.v. What could go wrong?

no where in the news report did it say anything about the speculation of money laundering... But man if i owned a local AZ news station, i'd just have one crew follow them around all day for a month. You do have to wonder how the place stays open, i think it might be the baked goods, they honestly look really good.

some of the yelp sleuths have discovered that all those yum pastry pictures have been lifted from other websites and according to former employees those pastries are not baked on site. people are claiming they come from an outside company.

The UK kitchen nightmares episode where he visits a paris vegetarian restaurant, piccolo teatro, is really good.

spoiler about the owner 2 years later:
she becomes a paris hooker, i mean high end escort. and uses the KN episode as a hook for new clients.

lol holy shit, really? that was my favorite KN episode next to the welsh couple who the owner was a former boxer and his wife is shrek in a dress. the best part about that paris KN is watching ramsay turn into a one man soup brigade while the place is closed because the chick is too lazy to run her place in the afternoon. he gets so busy that he literally says "im really in the shit now"

So their PR firm quits and Samy is facing deportation while they have a grand re-opening. This could turn it around for Amy's Baking Company?

It's really too bad the PR firm didn't have a camera with them, because I'm sure that easily would've resulted in another hour of entertaining television.

Thanks for sticking this up, that was good. Is he usually less of a drama queen in the UK KN? I much prefer it.

It's much, much better. Like I said earlier in the US shows he plays a parody of himself. That in combination with the standard American reality show's penchant for silly dramatization makes the UK version far superior. I believe the Uk version is still streaming on netflix, and there aren't that many episodes to go through.

there is a half decent american show called Hotel Hell or something like that. gordon was more hands-on and did his own narration as he went to all the rubbish hotels and reviewed them.

I actually like this show, but the general reality show format of "here's what you've about to see, now you're seeing it, this is what you just saw" is fucking infuriating.
