In S4 they wanted junglers to have more gold, to be more impactful, and for farming the jungle to be a viable strategy. Now, much like the "we want supports to have more gold" thing I knew they didn'treallywant those things but they went ahead with them anyway and boy did that do stuff. This is them pulling away from that and strangely going back to almost a S1 jungle except there are no GP10s to buy and the exp is less. I'm not really sure what to make of it.

If their goal was to make the jungle a less solitary role they've succeeded. Players who want to just jungle solo for awhile are a negative impact on their team.

Yeah, which was why some of their changes last season were dumb. Why would you want a strategy of power farming the jungle for thirty minutes to be anything other than terrible? It should be a role about impacting lanes and controlling objectives. It should not be a role where you farm to try and carry.

I've just been lane taxing a ton. Last season I never really had to lane tax anymore because farming the jungle kept you a decent level. Now though, sorry laners, if that gank fails I'll AoE smite the caster minions which usually 1shots them all, huehuehue.

Kalista is a huge pain the ass to support when I play Soraka. She moves around so much in fights that trying to target her for my heal is frustrating.

you can just click her portrait on the left side. I don't do this much either but it is actually the better way to buff/heal allies. When I play nunu more I get in the habit of clicking the portrait cause it's so easy to misclick in a heated battle

If you haven't gotten baron + five dragons and pushed down middle yet this season I highly recommend it. The enemy Nexus might as well just explode upon acquiring both buffs at the same time.

I can't believe they nerfed Raka's bananas.

This jungle is designed for natural junglers. Characters with jungle-friendly kits do fine, but other characters should just stay the fuck out of jungle. It also encourages very aggressive jungling. TP as a jungler is a really strong choice now, and this further puts characters with a disadvantage in jungle behind, because natural junglers can spare that TP second summoner and shut down enemies in jungle hard.

As for devourer- its /extremely/ good on characters kitted for it. Shaco, yi, udyr, warwick. Additionally, the move speed buff on dragon is enough to allow some characters to build without boots. This whole season is fucked imo. Its by far the messiest start to a season, and I really don't like the direction they're taking it.

If thats what you want, you should at least just come out and say it. Riot says we like alternate strategies, then tries to cut their nuts off.

So I can clear the full jungle with Yorick with 2 mana pots at start.

Edit:
That's in a bot game with no leash too. Start Golems > Red > Raptors > Blue > Gorm/Wightwhatever I just don't kill wolves, was too low.

Also rushing Righteous Glory on Yorick is hilarious for your ganks. It's amazing.

You can full clear at least twice the jungle with WW with 1 health pot, or maybe 0. I think I used one because I saw a chance to go annoy their mid laner.

I like Sejuani in the jungle just fine still, she was never particularly awesome at clearing it so doesn't feel that much different. Amumu I foresee being really good again.

I need to try my hand at Nautilus again to see how he's fairing. I really started to love playing him in the jungle towards the end of last season. Although, I fear he's going to suck balls because since jungle hits harder his shield, especially early, is going to fall off very fast, which then means his clear speed plummets to shit levels.

5x dragon stacks is hilariously strong. Was in a game that we were dominating, not sure why the enemy team didn't surrender since we were probably up a good 20k gold. I was like, I wanna glow orange, we need 5 stacks of dragon. Our j4 jungler said sure and said he was going to stand at a t2 tower and wait. The whole team agreed so we pretty much sat around doing nothing for about ~5minutes waiting for the dragon to spawn so we could get a 5 stack. You're so fast and do fuck loads of extra damage to champs/minions. Plus that 150 true dmg burn over 3 seconds, wtfmate. I was Ahri that game and man it was fun as shit.

Naut is in a really bad spot right now. Harder jungle is compounded a lot by how the jungle camps spawn now as your AE anchor damage winds up missing some of the smaller monsters and it makes your clear take even longer.
