Sion is so much fun. Played a bunch of games last night with him. I can almost carry with him now as long as my team is halfway competent. I love the way he plays.

Anyone know if your Normal MMR effects your Promotional series in a new season? I know it has an effect the first time you enter ranked.

Doesn't appear to, no, ranked MMR on the other hand has a pretty big impact:

When doing placements you go 2 Divisions lower than your MMR is at.

So if you have Gold 3 MMR at end of 10 placements you go to Gold 5. Etc.

Gaining as much MMR Now (Increasing your rank) increases your starting MMR On the soft reset. There is no confirmed sum to get your MMR but we do know that the higher MMR you start with gives you a headstart.

So basically Higher Rank now = Better chance of starting at a higher rank next season.

normal MMR is only used to place you in your first-ever promotion series for ranked play. This is why pros have a really hard time getting Bronze, cause when they level a new character to 30 their Normal MMR is pretty good and makes it practically impossible to get placed in Bronze, even if going 0-10.

Once you play ranked and establish a ranked MMR then that's the only number that matters anymore.

God I hate this game. Decide to play a game after a few week break and a duo in my game both lock ADC after its picked. It proceeds to be a 40 minute thrashing of our team and the enemy wont end the game because they are having too much fun destroying us. And of course the duo on my team wont FF.

If I'm not playing ranked I play team builder. And it's pre-season so I play team builder. Really eliminates a lot of common complaints people have about the game :p

Weird. I find a game within 2 minutes as any role, even mid. 2 minutes is unusually long, even. During nights as well.

Man, just did an Aram and holy balls our team was stacked. Sona, cait, sivir, jinx, leblanc. So...Sona who has like a 100% win rate, the 3 best adcs for aram (maybe sub our jinx for varus) and then a super bursty AP. Like, they have to stack armor for the 3adcs, then I would just melt people (I was the LB)

Holy crap that was so fun. Felt bad for the other team though, (they were shen/draven/fiddle/shaco/elise)
