I've been watching this show since it started airing. They follow around 6 police departments every Friday and Saturday night(on A&E) on a slight delay, and it's really eye opening seeing everything the police have to put up with. Last Saturday night the Richland County, SC PD got involved in a high speed chase and this guy wrecks out and jumps out of a vehicle with a fucking kid. It's infuriating watching this idiot endanger his kid's life.

Wow, I just watched that video. I don't understand what would compel you to try and run like that. Then to try and FIGHT the officer after you roll your car, and are carrying a kid?

This shit is just crazy.

The video cut off before he played the race card. He started screaming that he was just another black person being held down. That guy was a grade A POS.

Are there any shows/documentaries that follow locals/criminals around and show their perspective? Other than the YT videos showing cops murdering people...

If his plate didn't scan for a felony warrant the cops are the assholes for pushing that chase unless there was some felony on the road he had committed that needed to be stopped.

They put public safety at risk. And it sounds like a whole lot of nothing? What'd he do, break a line one time? Speeding 10 mph over?

Edit: Suspended license and a lil marijuana possession, 2 misdemeanors. Whoopee lets get multiple cars driving recklessly at 90 mph+ through 30mph intersections and put pedestrians lives at risk.

He left a party just as the cops just arrived to it. They got a call that there was a shooting at the party. They had to pull him over. When they turned over the van later in the show a shell casing and a bullet fragment fell out of the van. They said if they knew a kid was in there they would have called off the pursuit. There was no way to tell though. This dad had no remorse for his child's life and that is pretty messed up.

Yeah, at least it feels like it is, they just bounce between active events in different precincts and somethings play flashbacks or have discussions when nothing noteworthy is going on.

They follow around 6 departments around the country, so they usually have something to show. They have taped stuff to show during the really dead times.

Tonight's episode has a supposed hostage situation, that is my neighborhood. I know no details other than a street was blocked off for a few hours. They just said a woman was reportedly being beaten. This is not a typical Saturday Night in my neighborhood.

At least you had action. When they did my town a few months back they spent the entire night on a county road checking for drunks at a checkpoint.
