Starlight is the piano one with the really long questline, Astella is the island with the shinies. But Astella doesn't give mats though, so it's pretty optional, I tried to do it for 20island tokens but there were too many ppl and it was taking forever so I just left and went for another token instead.

Europe Queues
We know that players are still experiencing long queues in Europe. The Europe Central region is at capacity and unfortunately there is no way to increase the number of players per world in Europe Central. Adding more servers is not possible based on the complexity of all the systems that need to work together. Due to not being able to continue expanding Europe Central capacity, we quickly spun up Europe West. This is an appealing option for new players or for players who have not significantly progressed on Europe Central. We also provided a second variation of the Founders Packs to all users who purchased them in order to make switching servers more viable.

Yeah for main/knowledge transfer alts, just do the quests, use this to track them down:

For power pass chars, just use the ones from these quests you don't use+islands. Use maxwell.gg website to filter islands by their rewards and it'll show you the ones that give engravings and how many. Green books is honestly super easy to get whatever you want, blue less so, but you can still get most stuff you'd want even without the AH.

I feel like I'm big dumb or something, because I'm following all my quests, and the main story quests have got me to unlock Shushire, and I've unlocked my Awakening skill as a Warrior, but where does it take me to the gear upgrades?

I think Google is gonna help, and maybe one of those videos where it's like I just hit level 50, what do I do now?!

I've played with both. I leveled from like 1-40 with a controller and ultimately I switched bc the controller support is just pretty bad and you have to constantly go back and forth.

However, I will say that leveling with a controller is better. You'll just probably have to switch back to kb at max level until they have better support for it.

Still having fun playing, although leveling is taking a little longer than I thought it would. Would still love to join the guild if you guys get more roster spots!

Speaking of Engravings earlier, people do seem to be buying them for stupid prices atm, even just green class engravings seem to go for 15 to 20g, which is obscene considering you need 20. If you were to buy 20 at 20g, you'd be 2/3 of the way to just buying a knowledge transfer char and getting 20 books that way(and 10 blue books, plus a bunch of generic green and 10 more class greens for another alt). I mean I'm just selling mine so not complaining, just weird.

Also pubs are so fucking bad sometimes(40 ilvl higher than the boss but still that's not THAT big).

While that is pretty bad, and something I've seen quite a bit, it's not just ilvl. It's engravings and gems at tier 2 and tripod bonuses at tier 3.

Lol, this is pretty fucking dumb. I've gotten shitloads of these as login rewards in RU, never had one with a GS requirement before. It's like they just grabbed one from a vendor or something. Or did I miss something and is "psych!" a thing again?

Well only engravings I had was lvl 2 class engraving and lvl 1 adrenaline, no other difference, it was in T1 on my alt. Was turtle guardian which is pretty easy, no death either so the others were just slacking.

I think they want to specifically slow progress on rapport shit, which is why they're only selling legendary and not epic maybe? I saw on RU you could buy a 1epic+5legendary pack on the shop, but in the west it's 1legendary 5rare. That's a weird req to have on a login reward though, especially that high for how soon the reward is. Flipside, another 50 pheon for free which is neat.

40 ilvl is a decent amount at tier 1. And some of these noobs won't even have any engravings slotted.

No, it's not to slow progression. It's a login reward, they aren't supposed to have any requirements. It's just a dumb mistake.
