Well i started selling mats because i was down to like 50 gold and couldnt do anything else. Now i feel like I can breathe a bit. Ok 1370 here I come. Also I dont mind guardians, I am a paladin so any combat is more of a mini game than what face smashing keyboard as a dps is.

Total speculation I know, but would you suggest saving and stocking up on tradable leapstones? Do you think they will see a big spike in price when new content hits?

Also is it worth using extra Una daily coupons on the main to stock up on Leaps?

Prefacing this with it's speculation but my answer to everything above is yes / that's what I'm actively doing.

I use all the una's on my main to complete ones that provide the most amount of greater leapstones, regardless of whether it's a una that I've already maxxed out and use my +1 tokens the same way. I stash my non-bound greater's away (or sell them if the price hits my targets) but I do suspect that, regardless of whether they provide a honing buff, when those in the 1380-1395 range (which is quite a few people atm) that are also skipping guardians and using their una's for anything other than greater's hit the literal wall of 1410 --) 1415 and begin to worry about missing out on day 1 Valtan we'll see the prices go up even more and instantly sell.

I personally would wait a week or two before buying up leapstones.

Their prices has been pretty stable over here for the past like week or so, so it seems they're not gonna move, but there's on big thing that can switch them up, and that's events coming. If they start feeding us some actual high tier materials through these events, prices might go down. Especially if more people get their alts to 1370/1385 but then don't move them past that(which imo is the best way to go for now), more alts means more stones, and if there's less ppl buying because of events feeding free ones, the prices will go down even further. They will inevitably spike as we get close to Valtan(as long as they don't push it back) but if they spike from half of their current value back to their current value, it's 0 profit.

That said I don't think you'd lose too much money unless you buy like 100k gold worth of them because even small fluctuations downwards would make you lose a shit ton of gold there, but if you're investing 20k or whatever, worst case you're gonna lose 1 or 2k gold and it's kinda whatever.

It's also possible whales switching mains to Lancemaster will cause a spike in price by itself for at least a week.

I've been using +1 tokens though, the event ones+the mari shop ones when I can buy some. They're 50 blue crystal(200g here), but turn into 4 greater leapstones(about 280g here) so it's decent conversion.

I am glad you are enjoying Bard, I think supports are a lot more important than people like to admit, just because 99% of the current content can just be plowed through with DPS doesn't mean you won't want/need these on more lengthy content. I went ahead and pushed my Paladin up to 1340 as an alt because honestly the more supports in the guild the better when we finally reach a point we want to do multiple runs for alts, and the guys with a roster of 6-12 DPS are more a hindrance than a help at that point.
In a lot of T3 content, even in shit as low as like aArmored Nacrosena, it's insane how much difference/how smooth a good support makes runs compared to a 4th DPS. Sure, if you get lucky and get some omega shielding like an Arti and Gunlancer (let's be honest, they are practically a support anyways) it isn't too different. But, you have to play soooooo fuckin' careful without supports it's unreal and you don't know what you're missing until it's gone.

I main a Paladin so I never really realized, but going through T3 hards and shit now on my Arti and it's crazy how much of a difference they make. Most of the time I get a 4th DPS and I want to just immediately end the run, because I know it's going to be some braindead fuckin' Zerker or Sorc.

I mean, I'm still ok without a support in our current tier of stuff, albeit I agree that it's the first tier where you start to feel that having a support is a benefit rather than a detriment. Well, a well played Paladin was the case for T2 as well. The upcoming stuff is all pretty heavy in need of supports for each group imo, which is why I've actively been trying to get some people playing less desired DPS classes to switch over.

I dont get the comparison to Support with Artillerist? Is that because we keep the bosses, generally, still? Cause Ive taken a straight shit on Zerkers and Sorcerers with my D tier Engraving setup against their 3/3/3/1 setups.

Ever since my Arti hit t3 I’ve been torn on pumping my Pal or getting Arti to 1370 and using all these tomes before they expire at end of month. My zerk is also about to hit t3 which further exacerbates my dilemma. Not to mention glavier on the horizon and I may want to have that as main dps if it feels solid.

Ive got a ton of casino red/blues, but shit all for leap stones. Been more concerned with knocking Una reps out than concentrating on leap stone una's so its my fault. But I'm just shy of 1400 and can bust out the bit of difference when I feel like being annoyed with the game. Ive left my alts at 1302 and have just been siphoning everything to my main. So when I see 1415 as the next goal, Ill have all the mats I need "at that point" to do it. But thats probably a month and a half away at best.

Is there an estimate on average number of greater leapstones to get to each milestone (1385, 1400, 1415)? Just curious as I plan out how much I'll need for the future. If I ended up with 500 bound ones on a character but the average is 300, well, I guess they'd be useful later, but still my efforts could be better used elsewhere.

Edit: For instance, here's one for 1340-1370.

Ya, thats what they were talking about up above this post. Ill quote it for you so you can save it. Doesnt include the entire amount, but the cheapest route. Im sure you can find an average of the total that way.
The big savings of doing the 17/17/13/12/12/11 is over 500 greater leapstones. That's 2-3 weeks' worth of leapstones.

Just fyi I bought all mats to push my Deathblade from 1340 to 1370 this week. It cost roughly 60k gold. Only thing I DIDN'T need to buy was honor shards (which are actually really costly), but I bought all leaps and weapon/armor stones, as well as the stupid fusion material also.

I wish I knew how to make money like you guys. I barely have 60k gold let alone enough to spend on the AH buying mats.

Maxroll has a calculator. It's a bit messy if you try to count event books only though, I think there might be another that does it better, but that's just up to 1370, after that no books anyway.

lol Yes, I can clearly see an Artillerist giving up the strongest perk about his Shield to bubble his group mates for a weak dick 15k damage. That is the dumbest shit Ive read from you in "this" particular thread. Maxroll and Loawa both, say to use push Immunity. Yikes is right.
