So 700k bots sounds about right. You couldn't fuck this up harder if you tried. Amazon is probably the worst publisher to deal with at this point after Bots Ark and New World I can't imagine anyone wanting to touch this toxic shithole in the future.

Finally crafted my 2 set of Legion gear today weapon and helm both dogshit quality not even worth equipping only to find out you have to play RNG Casino to upgrade them because why not double fuck your asshole every chance you get. So after trying to few times and losing. I went from being excited about actually upgrading and putting on new gear to logging off. They really know how to kill any enjoyment you can have in this game instantly.

Honestly if they actually unfuck the botting/rmt shit then I don't mind the delay but so far they are underwhelming as fuck. Also maybe smilegate is pissed at Amazon trying to buttfuck the player base with retard monetization and losing out money in the long run. So if there is actual progress on that front as well then a couple of weeks delay is good for the long term health.
With that being said I think they already screwed the pooch and the long term health has a massive uphill battle to regain players. Lost ark is seen as a botting pay to win shithole for dopes and suckers.

Yep, they fucked it. For some reason Amazon is content with short term money and are willing to blow up any long term good will to get it. Which is baffling for a company whose parent can provide them what essentially is limitless funding as far as gaming is concerned.
Instead of releasing stuff like skins for people to buy, they draw the shit out (they did it in New World too). By the time they figure out why they're retarded, 90% of their player base will be gone and that potential profit disappears forever.

I am still shocked by the number of people who drop cash for name brand virtual dress up, but then again I am also shocked by the people who drop $10k on an LV purse and shit. People love to flash money though, in order for that to work though you need a player base big enough to show off/flex on.
Whale cash dries up fast when there is nobody to show off to. One would think they would have been cashing in on skins all along but yeah they still don't release much and see very set on conservative dresses when simps seem to be begging for underboob and sideboob outfits. Jeffy Beezy is gonna miss out, if Bobby Kotick was running this shit they'd be raking in hands of cash on dresses and shit we all know it.

And unlike a Korean playerbase who tends to be more docile/"forgiving", Western audiences don't really come back. For the most part, once a Western game/MMO starts having a declining population, it tends to continue in perpetuity.

Ignoring the fact that AGS are complete incompetent idiots (which any non-retard would agree with) I don't get the outrageous over the patch day. They announced that the June patch would include Vykas and gave details of the update. Someone explain to me why anyone thought that it would be any other day other than the very last Thursday of the month?

If one counts the first and last hours of June as the beginning and end, respectively, then I suppose the morning of the last day is roughly mid-June.

Well, having the "June" update on the last fucking day of June is pretty lame. But, I'm sure most of the anger and frustration was already there due to AGS being the shittiest studio ever. When your playerbase hates you, they're not likely to be polite, lol.

It really takes a monumentally shit-tier studio like AGS to completely botch a potential cash cow. If they would've taken a zero-tolerance stance on third-party RMT from the beginning (seller and buyer), that would've forced all the rangrangs' profits their way instead and kept the in-game economies healthy by way of royal/blue/gold exchange synergy. Add a few in-game GMs per server to supplement automated measures; their salaries would be completely covered by the added profits from legitimate cash shop whaling.
Triple the skin release schedule and prioritize the newer stuff from KR and you have the casuals throwing money at the game too. That is partly SG's problem since they seem content to milk the West starting with the fuggliest cosmetics from 3 years ago. But if AGS had been raking in the whale money instead of ineptly attempting to wrangle bots you can damn sure bet their voice would mean more, and when they sent their team out to Korea for a week of meetings they wouldn't just come back with "hurr sorry guys, class and content schedule has been slowed down".

Hit my wall a couple days ago. Breaking 1445 did it. Went 4 days without a single success. I run 4 characters. Nothing crazy but it’s still work to do daily crap on them every day. If I could remotely progress just running my hammerbro I’d probably keep playing, but I’m burned out.
Fun game until it wasn’t fun, so I’ll play something else. Got way more time out of it than I ever expected going in.

Since I never posted my core 6 after I hit 60 with all the skills. I'm not sure if I want to, or can, move my 2 1415s to 1430 now or not. Progress on my main has been 1 success every 1.5 weeks for nearly a month now. Other than a Grudge book I've just gotten a few 3-5k accessories. Going hard and getting screwed by RNG at every corner is starting to get to me.
