What in Post-Apocalyptic early 90s French avant garde fuck was that? It's like Aeon Flux by Luc Besson, starring Jean Reno and Milla Jovovich. I mean, they had two World Wars, millions of deaths in the trenches and being occupied by the actual Nazis to come up that level of existential anomie. It just speaks to our spiritual/cultural exhaustion among the Californianated Elite.


Hekotat , /Fry wasn't so much at you but at the aesthetic. It's ok in small doses but it literally gives me the creeps, having lived through that time once before.

How are they misjudging the market so badly? I have loved Bungie since Myth: TFL and before but this seems like the end.

Man, how disappointing. That first trailer was one of the coolest game trailers I've ever seen. The gameplay.... was not. What's with the shitty textures, 8 bit everything, etc? Someone else said it but this could have been pretty hype if it was a Division clone - extraction shooter with shitty graphics? Why would you not just buy COD and play DMZ all day? How is that a full game?

I just don't get the premise at all - is there a big clamoring of gamers wanting a team based extraction shooter in 2025? When most people load into these games solo? I hope it fails, not because of the idealogues behind it (though that too), but because the studio heads went all in on something I don't think a lot of people are asking for. I will be shocked if this is not a massive swing and a miss. Concord part deux.

People been clamoring for Destiny 3 for years. We as destiny players thought there was always one in the works. Surely there has to be another Destiny sequel in the works, right? Then its revealed that in fact, no, there is no Destiny 3, just this garbage that no one wanted. They took their prime Destiny franchise that made them hundreds of millions of dollars per year and ran it to the ground, then built themselves a new lavish office they can have their little communist work utopia in (when most people post covid work remote at least part of the week).

They sell themselves to Sony for like 3-4 billion dollars, not even being worth 1/2 that because they squandered all the D2 money. In fact, few years before, it was all about being FREE from the big studios. Bungie hailed as being finally FREE when they bought themselves out of Activision. It was supposed to be a new dawn for Bungie, freedom to do anything they want. And all we got is shit until they squandered that away. Years of half baked expansions and boring seasons ever dwindling D2 population. Best Destiny 2 years were under Activision. Where we got huge expansions and 2 more side studios making content for destiny 2. (Which all of that content was taken out of the game, looool)

So this is what we get instead of Destiny 3. Another dying AAA studio.
