Usually it's the opposite, they think I have a slew of girls I text on the regular when in reality I tend to talk to only one girl at a time. I usually take that to mean "I'm talking to a 1000 dudes so you must be too."

Incidentally, I was a very naive young woman and was married for a year when I met my G. I was not happy at all with the first individual, but for many stupid reasons and having been incredibly manipulated I wed him. When I went to Grad school and was away from the person, I gained both wisdom from age and distance. It was not easy to do...divorce.. but I fell hard for my G. I stood up for myself to the former little mister and to my family (no one of my parents' or my generation had ever divorced). It resulted in many years of true love and devotion. Not that it was always easy, but life with him was always worth it.
I am extra sentimental this week...tomorrow May 13, would have been our 26th wedding anniversary. We were married on a Sunday. .Mother's day 1990. Sigh/cry.

We talked about it last night. I told her that if she wanted this to work out, she's going to have let me take the place she holds for her ex. Her initial reaction to that was tears but after talking about it a long while I think she's more motivated to try. I dunno. I'm still cautiously optimistic.
