Marvel Heroes 20xx

No problemo. Still hoping someday we can get enough RR players to just make a Supergroup. Its definitely one of those games that you play for a week or two and come back to when a big update happens.. which is usually once a month.

Also, how the hell did I not know how badass Spiderman is?? His abilities synergize so well and are so fluid, its almost as fluid a feeling as Diablo which is rare for MH.

So Psylocke is awesome as all hell. Anyone put time into her at 60? How's she doing there?

Okay started playing this game this morning. From what I read Scarlet witch is a good starter hero and got her to level 9. Is this still hold true or should I try another hero? I don't mind spending some money on this game to have fun. Also any site that has good noob info about this game and good builds?

Also downloading this now. Made an account when it came out (went FTP?) but never actually played. I'll like this if I like Diablo 3, I take it?

Good starter character to play?

I didn't even know Scarlet Witch was a starter anymore(EDIT: Unless you bought SW and she really isn't a starter).. yeesh. Scarlet Witch is a good hero, strong and easy to play. Good builds? Go to the Marvel Heroes forums. Tons of topics in the hero specific forums. Always tips and gear suggestions and builds.

MH has way more to do than Diablo III but D3 has smoother animations, though I wouldn't say animations are awful but just a little stiff sometimes.

I'm not sure if the list of starter heroes I'm looking at is correct or not but Capt America is great, Black Panther gets a lot of love, Storm is strong but a little boring(easy?), and Colossus packs a punch. I wouldn't say there are many or any "hard" characters to play. Maybe squishy characters like Deadpool, NC, Spiderman might be. Dr Strange has a build with a lot going on so possibly he is harder to play as well.

Just FYI I haven't watched this video but it got a lot of praise on the forums. This video is a couple months old so the "soon released" stuff he talks about might have come out already except raids. Just realize that some stuff is "endgame" and it may not pertain to you right away so try not to get overwhelmed.

Cyclops is the only character so far that I really disliked but his +XP synergy was probably worth it since they are adding omega point farming.

Thanks for the video, that's what I was looking for. I played this game during its beta phase and Scarlet witch and Storm were the two characters I had. Thus the reason why I am playing her.

Of all the ARPGs out, this is the one that reminds me most of Diablo 2. There isnt a huge amount of difficulty, but you fly all over the place very quickly blowing up large groups of mobs with skills that have huge aoes and seeing the lootsplosions.

Difficulty will come later when you do cosmic terminals at lvl 60. There is some difficulty if you try to do stuff at a lower level or use a build that isn't very good.

I posted a tier list a couple pages back, but honestly 90% or more of the heroes are good and fun.

Make sure you new guys get all the free stuff codes that are out, there is a ton.

As far as starter heroes go, Colossus, Storm, Hawkeye, Human Torch, Black Widow and Black Panther are all very good.

Hawkeye is kinda boring to play, Colossus can perform very well as a fresh 60 and Black Widow has an infinite taunt. Black Panther is the strongest of all of them with gear though if you ask me. However, as a first character Black Widow might be your best bet because she will be able to solo cosmics (hardest end game content) the second you get to level 60 because of her Timed Explosives infinite taunt. They will take a while to complete but she can do them right away. She also has the luxury of building 100% pure offense because of her Timed Explosives.

I've heard Captain America is also pretty decent but stay away from Punisher, he is extremely lackluster right now in my opinion.

Everyone here should download and patch the test client. I assume the raids will hit the TC before they go live and since they are planning on having a limited amount of retry attempts per day/week we would be stupid not to log in and figure out mechanics.

I'm calling it now, raids with 1 madame hydra medallion and 30 gorgon medallions.

Professor X got rid of him when he downsized the X-men.

I hate how Iceman has become such a secondary character. Granted he was 16 when he joined X-Men (as a founding member) but the Bobby Drake casting and scripts hurt his case a bit and he's no longer known as being one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel franchise. Guess that's my nerd rage for the day. I guess I can't complain since they nailed Tony Stark/Ironman.

Um so apparently Gaz is dropping prices on all costumes by a couple bucks each.. PERMANENTLY. Plus enhanced costumes will be on sale all through June for the one year anniversary. Already fixing one of my cons from my review. Haha

Game looks very promising. I'm loading it up right now and dropped a few messages to friends. I'm in an incredible lull for gaming atm. I knew I would burn out on D3 and everything else i'm goofing around on just isn't holding my attention for more than a day or so.

Yeah. Kinda pisses me off, too. He's basically supposed to be as strong with ice as Magneto is with magnetism. But instead we get a romantic friend for Anna Paquin who nobody even cares about anymore.

It looks like it's not all costumes, just select ones. Also, if you bought any costumes in the last 30 days (prior to May 27th) you can contact CS for a refund of the difference (in gazbucks ofc)
