They aren't pointless once you get gobs of them but each point itself feels like an effort in frustration. Right now I am working on getting a bunch of toons to 60 so I can reap the exp benefits. At 3 right now with Thing at 52, Rocket Raccoon mid 40's and Invisible Woman at 25. Hoping to hit 60 with Thing tonight and then race Rocket up there. With the server side exp bonuses hoping that IW will hit 60 this weekend as well. Should put me in a good exp range.

Is there any real reason to prestige a character other then fun? Do you get a free ultimate upgrade or something? Like a free copy of a costume you already have seems not worth it to me.

What's the deal with Data Shards? I have been spending them on fortune cards to try and get a pet but Saturday is a free pet for logging in so I won't need to do that anymore. Is there a better expenditure there?

Mark 1 cards are the best thing to spend cube shards on because it's the only way in game to get xp boosts.

Are you getting ult upgrades for them? i bought like 4/5 day a day for like 2 weeks and got jack shit
not saying they should drop gotks, but seriously i got purple rings 75% of the time.

Like a free copy of a costume you already have seems not worth it to me.

with a L20 crafter, 3 random costumes+200k+um = random costume

Yeah buying ghost boxes is like hoping to win the power ball. Buying fortune cards doesn't have a chance at a huge payoff but it ensures a steady supply of xp boosts.

Exp grinding is not fun enough in this game to hit thousands of Omega points. This game is really fun but once I hit 60 on a character I rapidly lose interest in playing that character anymore... theyve got uniques in every slot by that point, and Omegas show no detectable benefit until apparently thousands of points. Perhaps it would help to have far fewer ranks with a more noticable effect at rank 1?

Psylocke got nerfed on TC. Assassinate dropped roughly 30k dmg on the top-end on my tooltip. Nearly every one of her skills got nerfed somewhat...

Gambit and Cyke got slight buffs. Someone want to check if RR got any love?

EDIT: Looks like Iron Man of all people got general buffs when he is already very very powerful. Wtf?

thought that was going to be the one where he grew 4 extra human arms

putting the pitchfork away for a bit, as if i understand AgentVapor correctly they applied a new system to everyone which lower so many powers and upped others
now they have a baseline to adjust from there.
however it is total bs to even start saying well we lowered x,y,z by 30% but upped a,b,c,d by 60% so the hero got a 30% buff.

They are trying to get rid of the 40% boss killer powers.

Dr. Strange is getting a buff and Magneto is awesome, so this is going to be a good patch for me.

Psylocke got hit pretty hard by the tuning pass on her melee powers. Hopefully they fix that before the patch goes live since she already got her QoL fix and won't have that to look forward to for buffs.

Is it just me, or is this game super awesome? It's so much more fun than D3 on basically every level. Very impressed with this.

marvel heroes is my favorite arpg out there right now but i do dislike one thing about it. Theres no real difficulty curve in it, you can sleep through everything until you do red raids then you get stonewalled pretty hard.

Meh, I've never found the ARPG genre to be a good one for "difficult" content. That was what frustrated me about D3, among MANY other things. This is much more like faceroll D2, but with the added bonus of 40+ unique heroes with their own personalities, fantastic account-wide synergy/progression type stuff, etc. This game was made for me, basically. I want to play every hero, except maybe Luke Cage, cause he seems gay.

they have a chance of dropping in raids, maybe outside of them too but thats exceedingly rare.

Im usually a hardcore mode player, so a game like marvel heroes is a bit of a change from my usual playstyle.
