It was. I kind of stopped playing when their direction shifted from creating less quality content to creating an absolute fuckton of buggy shit content.

I don't know what happened, but I lost all interest in this suddenly, and stopped playing immediately.

The important thing is that I got Earth X Thor out of the blender last night. Only a tiny handful of costumes I still want and that was one of them. Awwww yeah.

In fact, my last two blends were actually costumes I wanted, the odds of which are astronomical at this point.

Came back to playing this recently after being away for a few months for the new PoE league. First thing I always do is look at top builds for heroes and economy. GoKs are finally losing their top 4 spot with all these new artifacts and will drop in price soonish. That will be an interesting time seeing as lot of people have a lot of GoKs.

GoK price is stable. Only thing that has fallen off almost completely is Lizard.

It is for now, give it a few months. I also called Liz dropping few months back in this thread.

Just fired this up again after 6 months off. What should I know about the things that have happened? Looks like getting all your story mode upgrades is easier? Should you keep all danger room scenarios or only blue and better or something? Leveling new toons should I do the story mode areas that give me good stuff and then just Industry City?

IMO, not that much real substance has changed in 6 months. I do what you said and only keep blue or better (although, I think I'm going to start dropping blues) and the only thing story mode I do are getting Power Points, the nice thing is doing the appropriate mission once, gets you all 3 now. I just grind Midtown which still seems to be the fastest way.

For the past couple of months I only log in now to get my daily since I don't have any new heroes unlocked so I might be missing a couple of things.

Fired this up after a long break from it. Will play this until the Path of Exile expansion is released. I was torn between playing either Deadpool after his 52 review or give Magik a try. I went ahead and chose DP and he is insane. He's too good to be honest. I didn't want to try DP especially after Cable's 52 which disappointed me greatly. I'm sure he'll get nerfed like they usually nerf new heroes. They introduce them OPed into the game and slowly nerf them into the ground.

He's not OP and it's very unlikely that he'll get nerfed.

I'm in a similar situation as Sabbat a couple pages back. Quit back in Aug. 2014 because that faggot Doomsaw shadowbanned me for having the audacity to criticize the Omega system. I thought maybe I'd install it again though and see what's been added/changed in the past ~18 months.

Did they ever turn Omega into something not an utter shitshow?

How is the controller support they added? I'm lazy.

I have 2255G left over from back then. Any must-buys in the store, or is it still just 'blow it on stash space and costumes'? I will probably play SW because again, I'm lazy and just pick whatever's OP (don't own Jean as far as I can remember). For team-ups I think I only have Magik and Spider-man... maybe Firestar, I can't remember if I bought her or not.

Blade, Doom, Jean, Rogue (maybe, she's still in major flux from her power overhaul), Scarlet Witch, Spiderman, and War Machine are top tier, so you're pretty safe playing SW. Nothing is a must buy, although starting with Ant-man I started buying hero bundles with cash instead of using splinters since the bundle gets me a costume and a stash tab, and saves my splinters for ult upgrades and the occasional TU. TUs aren't terribly important, the difference between the best one for any given hero and the others isn't that significant. Although with the TU changes, active TUs are better than passive TUs about 90% of the time. The only time I ever use a passive TU is with Wasp on a movement hero, or Clea on a hero that benefits from spirit and/or is super spirit hungry.

Stash space is never bad but now that midtown box prestige has finally been stopped forever you don't need such vast tracts of stash space anymore. If you like costumes wait til the 50% sale comes around, although they just had one to celebrate the rebrand so it's possible there won't be another 50% sale til Halloween. I dumped 50 bucks on costumes during Halloween and don't regret it even slightly.

Emma's re-review looks amazing, even if she's tuned poorly or it's only three quarter-assed like Cable, it will be a massive improvement. I hope Nightcrawler's re-review is solid too, although it will likely be March before we even see a preview of it.

Omega's are still an utter shit show.

Recently they said omegas will be reduced somehow.

I don't own Dr. Strange or Clea team-up so I guess that's the most obvious buy in the shop at the moment. 1050G seems a lot better than wasting splinters, and it will get me one of the passives I don't have plus the team-up people recommend using.

Sadly, my SW is only L50 since I was in the process of leveling Wanda when I quit. I still have cakes/boxes and other shit like a well-rolled GoK and enough odin marks to get an artifact immediately, but since about 90% of my ~1000 hours in the game previously were on Ms. Marvel it's basically like starting from scratch. Is there an ideal way to grind out the last 10 levels quickly nowadays?

yeah, story mode. Do chapters 8-10, and you'll almost certainly hit 60 before you finish ch 10, maybe even before you start it. Story mode is worth tons of xp now.

fast 1-60 level : vengers

Theres nothing top tier about warmachine. His damage is low even in a glass cannon spec and to get any sort of survivability you have to sacrifice more. He doesnt really have the option of changing legendaries to a shield for CDR unless you just want to take him past the part where running epics is more efficient. He wouldnt even be on the list the B heroes, hes bad.

Did he get nerfed and I didn't notice? He sure seemed top notch for the first month or so.

Warmachine was always terrible. His damage was always low and was forced into a choice in his passives of ok defense and HORRIBLE offence or bad defense and slightly better horrible offence.
