I'm sure I'll get some flack for this, but to be honest, the movies were light years better than the books. I'm not saying someone else wouldn't be a better choice, but given the shitfest that the Twilight books were (yes, I read them, partially to see what made them so popular, and partially so I'd have actual rebuttals when my female friends told me they were the greatest books ever), the movies weren't awful. Which is why I believe so many Twi-hards hated the movies, because they were actually slightly palatable for someone besides teenage girls or menopausal divorcees.

I'll wait until I see the series before deciding.
