Yeah, but Arnold has amazing camera presence to make up for it. Dude exudes charisma. No one could have pulled off Predator, or many other movies like he did.

did you see hercules in new york? that wasn't charisma. don't get me wrong, i love arnold. he's proven time and time again that he created the gold standard for screen presence. but it was something that he developed AFTER he started making movies.

Indeed. Example - Conan. Jason Mamoa did a ok job, but Arnold's Conan is iconic.
I'm pretty sure Hercules in New York was dubbed, and was Arnolds first film. It was barely a legitimate movie, I think it was like soft porn, or something.

there have been plenty of great actors who's first movie has been with a great director and still had a flat performance. that happens all the time. and it happens all the time because of a hundred different reasons. listen, i'm not trying to say that Carano is an amazing actress. she's not. she's a fighter. i AM saying that i will watch carano act in any movie before i even consider watching a movie that rousey is in. specifically because while they are both lacking some severe screen presence, carano is the one that is going to have believable action scenes.

I dunno, like him or hate him, Black Panther will be a headlining hero, plus Falcon and War Machine. Power Man/Luke Cage is just around the corner. And Nick Fury is the leader of them all. I think they have blacks covered. Granted no black women. Plus we may still see Black Cap at some point too.

Agents of SHIELD is also pretty multicultural, once they pander to the SJW and have some trans/gay/blue hair fattie on the show i think they'll have all bases covered.

Huge shame because I think she could easily pull off the look but I don't think she has the gravitas to front a major motion picture.
Rousey could easily pull off the look, in the FF movie she was obviously at fighting weight and the fucking hideous dress they had her in only accentuated it. Her acting does leave a lot to be desired and I don't think they would be interested in plowing money into but she does have the moody look that I associate with Carol Danvers.

This describes it pretty well. I'm pretty sure Rousey really is tough as nails, but when she actually tries to look tough she looks like she's putting on an act. Her mean mug at UFC weigh ins is fucking adorable.
