The comic arc Homecoming is Peter coming back from Secret Wars with his black suit? Google failed me due to all the hits for the title of the movie. If that's the case, why not save the black suit for when he comes back from Infinity War? The title is probably just a title though.

Tony Revolori (Zero from Grand Budapest Hotel) has been cast to play one of Peter Parker's close friends and they're supposedly trying to get Michael Keaton to play the main villain.

Haha Keaton as Vulture... I'm not sure I could take that seriously after Batman/Birdman. He's a fantastic actor though, so great pick-up for villain, regardless of actual character.

Keaton should stay the fuck away from wrapping himself up in a rubber suit. If anything he would be a great left field take of the Kingpin, or any number of 90s sleazy scumbag Tailored Suit wearing assholes from the 90s. You know, those Firstname Lastname characters who were all Cyborgs or Lex Luthor type villians.


Or go SUPER crazy and have him be Peter's Evil Dad , or SUPER dumb and have him as Judas Traveler.

I'd like to see Keaton as Norman Osborn and hold off going down the Goblin rabbit hole for a movie or two. Let him do the corporate evil mastermind stuff for a bit. If things continue to go well bring him into the MCU movies with the Dark Avengers as part of a Phase 4 Secret Invasion storyline or something.

He could play Silvermane. That villain also has ties into Hydra if they wanted to help tie it more to the MCU.

Why do we not have a set of spider-man movies that revolve around the Clone Saga or Maximum Carnage? If we are mining for terrible IP we may as well go whole hog.


Maybe an Ultimates movie where the wasp gets eaten by the Blob.
