i thought favreau talked to bettany cuz of jennifer connelly (her husband) she was the original betty, and the norton hulk gave us the inferior liv tyler.

I just IMDb'd her because of that. Looks like she was Karen / Suit Lady (voice) from Spider-Man: Homecoming, but hasn't been involved in the next spider-man or any other marvel movie at all since then.

Her Requiem for a Dream stuff really fucked me up when I was younger. Well, I was 19 when it came out, but still.

Shouldn't have been fired in the first place. Guarantee Disney watched the reaction to the recent Suicide Squad 2 news, and noone was yelling or screaming then, so in their mind issue over.

Rosannes joke wasn't even racist. She legit looks like she could be an extra on planet of the apes without any makeup. Have a better comedian deliver that joke and people would be laughing their ass off.

Maybe not, but again she did it today vs. 10 years ago. If Gunn had made those same jokes today, he wouldn't be brought back.

I look forward to a good ending chapter of GoTG:3 - you could tell something was up with the zero headway being made on it - either a rehire after Suicide Squad 2 or never being made. Gunn handled it professionally imo - didn't think it was grounds for him being fired either.

Seriously though, Gunn said some stupid fucking shit in those tweets, but I'm glad he's back. And let this whole episode be a lesson for us all: If you publicly post pedophilia jokes on the internet, employers and clients may take exception to it. Especially if the joke suggests that you yourself are a pedophile...and you work for a children's entertainment company.
