Because he was ripped out of his cocoon prematurely, I don't think they wanted to make Adam way OP like Superman as he is in the comics. TBH I'm kinda glad he isn't insanely powerful

Was he actually in the new movie? I never watched it and didn't really have a burning desire to. I just know that the end credit scene or whatever the fuck from some Goofy Marvel movie had teased it, and if I remember correctly comic-wise he was a pretty big part of the infinity saga or whatever the hell.

Gunn admits he wrote himself into a corner putting his appearance in GotG 2 and wouldn't have included him otherwise for GotG 3.

Just curious I didn't keep up with it and I don't know much of the Marvel war other than surface contact from you guys and other friends talking about the various comic series. Just never collected those or read them.

Just seems kind of strange that if he was so important in the comics he wasn't involved or included in the last two decent films.

Adam Warlock is kind of a mess and would take multiple movies to set up Adam and his alter ego Magus. They pretty much have introduced all the members of the Infinity Watch, sans Moondragon. That and Drax and Gamora were already tied up with Guardians stuff. I think there were originally plans to bring them all together but things took a turn after poor outings of movies after Endgame.

When searching for an appropriate gif reaction, I figured it was only appropriate for me to post this amazing movie scene. Revenge of the nerds 2 is probably better than most Marvel films put out by Disney.
