Marvel has had a lot of success casting actors who haven't yet found widespread success (Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt, etc.), I don't really see why they'd want or need to chase Hollywood's current golden boy, particularly when there are rumors that Marvel is looking to get rid of Downey due to his high price tag.

Just went to an anime con in Oklahoma with my wife this weekend.... the number of people dressing as Starlord and using speakers to play their theme music for everybody else to hear almost made me go fertilizer and fuel oil shopping.

Could be worse, Captain Marvel could turn out to be Skye from AOS, she seems to be something Kree, she ain't gone ape shit crazy like other humans that have had Kree blood, Ms Marvel flies, her name is skye.

Also her name is Mary Sue Poots, but that's not her real/real name cuz that's just the legal name the nuns gave her, if by the end of the season she meets her father for the first time face to face and he mutters out "Carol", be scared, very scared.

I made a lengthier post about that possibility in the AoS thread last season I believe, and now it is further reinforced by the fact that I can say unequivocally that there is no way in hell Marvel/Disney is hinging a potential billion dollar revenue movie on Chloe Bennet. Zero, zilch, nada. If they do, I will change my avatar to Batman beating the shit out of Superman and my user title to "Lyrical is my Batman."

May have been suggested already, but Ultron = Soul Gem from Loki's staff + Iron Man tech to make an army of sentient bots to hunt down Hydra. Goes horribly wrong probably because Hydra had the Soul Gem at the end of Captain America 2 and put dead nazis in them.
