Yall fuckers are missing the point of British TV. Big Fat Quiz of the Year and Gadget Man with Richard Ayoade. But anyone who can't accept that 95% of the shows on television in either country are fucking dogshit is just in denial. Hemlock Grove is best show anyhow due to me calling it and then getting to explain what a wobbly H was to my girl. Also fucking flying space manta rays. What the shit Netflix. Seriously what the shit. To be honest everything else about the show is kinda terrible but those two things were awesome.

Agent Coulson will probably replace spidey for civil war. Can't see anyone else currently in the universe doing the job and everyone likes the guy.

Black Panther is supposed to get introduced in the Cap Civil War movie I believe, so he seems like the most likely one. Though like the Cracked article mentions it won't be so much about secret identities.

I'm sure this means nothing at all, but I chuckled and smiled when one of those stupid "trending" things up in my facebook feed said "Garfield may be dropped as Spiderman actor if Marvel and Sony reach deal." or something along those lines.

Hopefully nothing unfucks Spider-Man and...oh never mind, no matter what happens Sony will never give it back to Marvel for any reason anytime in at least the next decade, and by then we'll all be so sick of shitty reboots and re-imaginings and spin-offs and cash milkings that even a Marvel Spider-Man movie starring an actual genetically engineered superhero won't interest anyone any more.

Fuck that's depressing when I actually think about it. I guess I have to hope Sony does something right eventually. Or just stop caring what happens to Spider-Man.

If Marvel Gets Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield is Out

Basically if they do pry part of it away from Sony they would do make it their way and anything Sony did previously would be dust in the wind. Sony distributes, Marvel makes the movie. With their people and their story and their creative control.

Not that any of this islikely.
It would actually be a sweet deal for Sony, zero investment or risk, just pure profit.

I think it's not over because they (hackers) are threatning to release more information unless that movie about killing kim jong un doesn't come out

I think the sticking point is going to be that Marvel thinks the rest of the ideas Sony has for Spider-Man are incredibly stupid. Sony isn't interested in just doing another Spider-Man trilogy. They want what Marvel has: An extended universe where they can crank out a new blockbuster or two every year. Handing over control of Spider-Man to Marvel and adding him to that universe's storyline, while lucrative as far as Spider-Man himself is concerned, potentially makes it more difficult to build their own universe. And considering Marvel's feelings on things like Sinister Six and the Aunt May movie, it's not like they're going to bend over backward to make it easy for Sony.

aside from staying true to the source, i see no need to marvel giving up anyting to get spiderman. they don't need for it to be spiderman. spiderman may be the most popular character, but he attracks the youngest audience. i don't think it would fit in w/ the rest of the MU and current feel of the movies. they could make a very 'adult-ish' spiderman, but what's the point?

and w/ the hacking. it makes me want to see the movie even more. if it's really north korean hackers behind it (they have internet access? must be hacking during the day time), f'em

Not the hackers? then who?
Literally anyone with an agenda. Or just doing it for the lulz. We rerolled posters could go through a bunch of proxies and shit and "demand" something. "The hackers" is a near meaningless term.

So had some friends and family over tonight. It turned in to a Marvel Movie Night where we watched Cap 2 and GotG because any time a couple people said they hadn't seen it there were a few others to scold them.

Everyone loved them. My brother is a total Cap convert now, and I think his wife wants to leave him for Rocket Raccoon.

XMen Apocalypse isnt even due out until May 2016. I'm sure any plans for an XMen/FF team-up movie will be scuttled when the FF movie bombs horribly.
