So this is weird. Finished both weekly and daily quests on Ms. Marvel and still only showing 14 challenge points total. From these alone there should be 28 (11 each for the two weeklies and 3 each for the dailies) but I've also completed the daily quests on her on several days.

This is not on every character mind you, IronMan (who I don't play very often) is well over 20 challenge points

when you hover over the mission, it right out says "missions features so-and-so. Hero will be auto-selected but can be changed"

I noticed this too. Kamala's weekly points didn't add for me

The mission result screen in in dire need of actual results. Give me damage, kills, headshots, etc.

Started going through the campaign today. Brutal is in fact fucking Brutal. I feel like I'm missing something Hulk and he just isn't good.

Seems like a common opinion on Hulk. What level? I'm maining Thor and while he always felt pretty solid, you definitely get better as you flesh out your skills and passives.

I'm definitely still scrub level and early in the campaign. On the brief plays of the other characters at the start Cap actually surprised me on how good he felt. He was the smoothest control and dealing with stuff. I'm looking forward to getting to try him more.

From what I've played, hulk really requires points into his rage. That way you can use it way more often. You take less damage and get health Regen and health steal while it's up. But early levels with him, he can't use it enough to compensate for harder difficulties

Yeah I'm beginning to think a lot of the underpowered complaints are people playing level 5 champs. They really need to be 20+ to come online.

Dude Pym gear is the best. Shrinking baddies is way better then the other techs. I was able to shrink abomination which surprised the hell out of me that they would let you shrink a boss.

Right, when I was selecting the 2nd iconic mission for Hulk (whichever one it was to kill Abom), if I selected the mission as Hulk I was stuck with Hulk since the select/change button wouldn't register a click. Yet, when I selected the mission as Kamala, I could then select/change back to Kamala and run the mission. That has only happened with that specific Hulk mission since.

That very well could be it. At the start of the campaign when him and Kamala and going to the Stark archives or whatever and the combat starts with him jumping down and you initiate by pressing F to do the ground slam, that fight is absolutely ridiculous on Brutal. You get 1-2 shot by almost everything. Turn it down to normal and you could sleep through the fight.

I think aside from that though, he just feels funny to use. Animations are slower than others and it feels clunky. I feel like I'm never really doing what I want to

Echo the opinion on Pym gear. Having the baddies get shrunk is soooo satisfying and they hit like wet noodles as little bitty guys.

OK so looks like companions will use whatever load out you have for them assigned when you play them normally. Still don't know if level and gear matters.

Their gear doesn't matter at least the power lvl of the gear. Not sure of the perks / stats on the gear matter, but its all scaled down/up according to how the mission scaled to your main character. Their level does matter in that they have the skills you setup, the passives would be especially important.

Sorry to chime in with a dumb question. so does the game have couch coop or is it more destiny like of must be online? I just wanted to play with my kid really.

No split screen or anything. You can make just a group with you and your kid though just need two machines.

Hulk definitely feels bad early on, starts to get better when you get more skills and gear and use his rage to regen more often. Just feels really bad when he's the toughest hero but can be bitch slapped like he's banner in this game.

Kamala also feels better with some skills like the hold lmb in the air or ground for combos makes her so much easier to use in fights and gives her some cc's, with both of them I've been using more aerial attacks which I feel gets away from being interrupted so often as on ground attacks especially the heavy attacks which have long animations.

Game also needed some time for ui polish, like the ultimates listed in a terrible order of 132 instead of 123. The collections area of the comics bug out and you see blank for the comics after you view a set once, have to click on an area where the arrows normally would be to scroll through them to unmark the new ones, the challenge card section has no arrows to scroll through the rewards track, it's 5 dashes below and not even aligned to where you click, and misclicking anywhere there brings up the buy credits screen

Sometimes the star that highlights to click on something doesn't even show up in the first place, or starts showing after you click it. Also having to push a button for 2s of tactical awareness and not making it a toggle is annoying, maybe the screen gets overwhelming with all the hit warnings, but I like seeing all objectives markers up.

the battle pass stuff definitely seems like its aimed at whales, depending on how often they release a "season". If its 60-90 days like most modern MTX games then i can see a lot of people just "buying" their way to the end and getting all the cosmetics, which is probably their design goal. Its definitely the most boring and uninspired aspect of the game, just a tiny step above grinding loot cave in destiny. Dailies, Weeklies, having to do it for each different character (will be CRAZY when there are 15+ characters) to level 40, etc. I did hit level 5 (battle pass, not character level) on Kamala after just like 8 hours so far so its not too awful but its completely hours or money = levels.

Its probably the grindiest battlepass I can think of, maybe dota or something exceeds it but not Fortnite, COD, Rainbow Six, etc. and i'd bet those games are way more fun multiplayer.
I'm really enjoying the SP campaign, but its a 10-15 hour game to 100% that. I don't want to prejudge but based on the combat and loot and everything I just can't imagine multiplayer being that compelling past a few days.
