My best bug is if I put captain America in his ww1 skin his eyes and face mutate and bulge like some alien is trying to escape his skull.

All in all it is kinda buggy and a ps4 is a bit under powered but overall I am enjoying the game seems like my pay to win fears did not show at least yet. Everything so far is cosmetic and you can bank enough credits for playing the default characters you could bank enough to pimp out some future hero you really want.

If you like Marvel and brawler/button masher games this is fun. I've been playing slowly but the story is pretty good. My main worry was about Kamala, but it turned out not being an issue. Her story and character are done well. She's likeable and no real in your face SJW crap. She's just a fangirl that got powers and becomes a hero.

From checking out the game's subreddit, I'd say that it's a game where you'll benefit from giving them an extra month to crank out some patches before diving in--lots of little bugs and instabilities and shit. Of course, we're also rapidly approaching next gen, so I'm currently of the state of mind to just wait a couple months and grab it alongside the PS5.

It's weird, you read some of the comments here and everything sounds great. But that Worth a Buy video I posted shits all over it; buggy, boring enemies, grindy, equipment is meaningless, etc.
Not sure what to make of that.

How is equipment meaningless? Even the low level stuff has big buffs on them and the stats they provide effect your build immensely.
I don’t agree about boring enemies either. The game is basically a buggier D1 at release with a much better story. There are also six different classes that play very differently (Unlike Destiny).

Come on. Quit being a cheap ass. You'll spend thousands on new screens but $60 and you need some kind of fun guarantee? It's not game of the year, but it's not bad. Very middle of the road that by the way the developers have responded will only get better. Buy it!

Should take what he says with quite a bit of salt. The game wasn't what he wanted, so he got upset about everything. He wanted a single player RPG, he got a action rpg GaaS. He wanted costumes with stats, he got a cash shop with purely cosmetics. He does have some valid criticisms, but I think he was wishing for something else than what the game actually is.

Fun game. Buggy mess though, worse on PC than on console in terms of bugs, but still plenty on console. No reason to buy immediately unless you have nothing else of interest you want to play. Game will probably be quite a bit better in 6 months, it might even have a TTK type DLC later down the road that make it great (maybe). Playstation gets all the exclusives.

Well I was having fun today, reached 50 with Kamala and so I took a little break...3 hours later I just finished Avenger: Infinity War, and starting on Avengers: Endgame.
I still have some of the mission chain left to do, and each of the hero missions. I'm going to try to finish the main chain mission before starting on different heroes. I did play some Black Widow, she plays so differently than Kamala does, also having Kamala with full skills unlocked seem to make way more useful. For example, I specced her to have 2 charges of her heal, and a few thing where she drops Heroic Orbs...and she heals me a lot, and I find Orbs all over the place so the game solo with at least 3 heroes at 50 specced to support you should be really interesting I think.

I think one thing that kinda helps and hurts this game is once you get to around level 20 and unlock most of a characters skills what you can do with them really gets way more fleshed out and fun as you unlock their full tookit. I can see a lot of people bouncing off certain heroes before they get them high enough to really get all their iconic and fun stuff really rolling.

Like take kamala she is almost the definition of just a main brawler but now that I have most of her combos available you can do some crazy stuff if you are skilled enough to pull them off. So people who get her abilities can really perform way above what people just button mashing can. Then you have the more skilled agil fighters like widow and captain and its even more so. Finished up the single player campaign was very enjoyable and the end sequence was pretty fun. My only gripe in the story is in a couple cases your first real experience with a hero is here lets give you X and drop you right into a boss fight with shit tier gear and no idea how to work their mojo.
