As long as there aren't any sexual misconduct allegations thrown around.

That'd be some REAL method acting!

Binged this. Best idea I had this whole weekend!

The girlfriend angle was lame, but this show is really good.

If you're ever interested about the Manson Family there's Aquarius, a NBC period crime drama TV show starring David Duchovny, mostly about the events leading to these murders. It's only 2 seasons as NBC cancelled it but it's quite interesting, cast/prod is good and writing makes its best to avoid the controversial landmines while depicting how the era was at the time.

Probably just me, but I never found Manson actually all that interesting. I guess maybe if I grew up in that era maybe he'd be more interesting.

I much rather like learning about the real big hitters - Bundy, Dahmer, Gacy, Kemper, Gein, etc.

Netflix has a good documentary on Bundy. With actual footage and photos. The fucking dude was a nut, and also the police in that era was pretty bad, lol. Check it out...

I think Manson was so popular because of the Beatles and how it was just hippyshit gone homocidal.

And it was california and they didn't execute him.

I never really looked into manson, but would he not be more of a spree killer rather than a serial killer?
