I ran ClearLag on my last server and it really helps keep a server running smooth. It's crazy how many entities (stuff laying on the ground) are generated in the world. You should be able to set custom warning messages however. I think i had a reminder at 5 minutes and then again at 1 minute.

The warning message was on. It would let you 5 minutes out, then 4 minutes and 30 seconds and then you didn't hear from it again. Sometimes it wouldn't announce at all. Which happened last night to someone and they lost their armor.

it's good that it's being removed, but you can see the issue...
you see the warnings, and it's down to 30 seconds, you have nothing on the floor... then somehow, BAM creeper blows up in your face, and throws you back and you die from the fall...

I had that happen a few times on the server Kais ran. Had to either suck it up, or when I lost a Tesseract, suck dick until it was restored.

I hear there is a tombstone mod that places a stone where you die and if you break it, you get your stuff back.

I don't believe they can, but I could be wrong. I believe the player that left it can break it even with their bare hands, so you don't have to build a pick before you retrieve it.

I'm kinda hitting a lull already guys. I logged in just now, dinked around for a bit with where I thought I wanted to go next with my base, and then logged out again because I didn't really want to do it.

What I'm saying is, Tuco needs to join us and come up with a community project. I blame him for my malaise.

I still think it would spice stuff up if we installed an RPG mod on the server that let people get some kind of skill ups or whatever. I think someone said something about us already being WL'ed on the RPG server or was that FTB I don't remember.

I still want to punch a stone pick out of someone's hands and toss it in lava.
