I'm so happy with the airbrush. I base coated the whole figure in the blue and it looks so smooth.

Hey man that's a great model but I wanted to ask, did you spray-gun a blue undercoat and then paint on the red and gold?

If so, how did you get the red and gold to be so strong even with such a dark undercoat?

Yah airbrushed the whole thing in blue and then painted on the other colors. The gold I use is really good, it's just very rich and smooth. I didn't have to do much to get it to pop like that. Red maybe took a second coat I think but wasn't too tough either. For his eyes I did white underneath so it looks a little more like glowing.

I'm trying to edge highlight him now I'll post more of him later. If I can get a little better at edge highlighting with these 3 I'll be happy.

Making progress on this guy. I can see how it takes forever to get a model done if you do more advanced techniques. Takes a while to do highlighting, blending, all the small details. Still quite a bit more to do but he's looking good so far.

I gotta say this guy's channel has been helping me a lot. It's nothing new in terms of technique, I just like his pacing. He doesn't overwhelm me with too much.
