I'm so happy with the airbrush. I base coated the whole figure in the blue and it looks so smooth.

Hey man that's a great model but I wanted to ask, did you spray-gun a blue undercoat and then paint on the red and gold?

If so, how did you get the red and gold to be so strong even with such a dark undercoat?

Yah airbrushed the whole thing in blue and then painted on the other colors. The gold I use is really good, it's just very rich and smooth. I didn't have to do much to get it to pop like that. Red maybe took a second coat I think but wasn't too tough either. For his eyes I did white underneath so it looks a little more like glowing.

I'm trying to edge highlight him now I'll post more of him later. If I can get a little better at edge highlighting with these 3 I'll be happy.

Yeah, the new Venom Crawler and the character guy on one look sweet. GW really killing it with models lately.

Making progress on this guy. I can see how it takes forever to get a model done if you do more advanced techniques. Takes a while to do highlighting, blending, all the small details. Still quite a bit more to do but he's looking good so far.

I gotta say this guy's channel has been helping me a lot. It's nothing new in terms of technique, I just like his pacing. He doesn't overwhelm me with too much.

looks like freehand to me. The labels people use are very rigid edges, perfectly straight, perfect thickness on the lines.

Yeah and it doesn't look like it was molded on. I just wasn't positive.
