I've probably seen all of these and couldn't tell you what happened in any of them. But I can remember the fat black guy getting his cheeks busted in pulp fiction decades ago.

I actually watched all of the movies over the span of about a month. I have not seen anything maybe pass the third one, and didn't remember much other than stuff from the first and maybe the second. The second being really bad because John woo was the director and it was just so laughable, think I saw it in the theater back in college.
They start getting back to more of the spy stuff and they're entertaining, but like you said I watched them I vaguely remember some plot points. All I know is there's an anti mission impossible enemy just like the specter organization and the James Bond stuff, and I don't remember where the very last film left off. I'm sure I will watch it one day I'm screaming if I remember that it even exists.
What's that pretty good action normally and the production values are high I'll give it that. I can appreciate Tom Cruise trying to do all his own stunts and he just seems really passionate about it, but like other conversations and whatever other movie thread, he's a movie star and not an actor.
