Well, I didn't, but two other people did, and since then he's done nothing but talk about how he's going to 'deal with those rats' too. Then today, he bursts in and the first thing out of his mouth is how much he hates all the people he works with. He sits at his desk, with his headphones on, mumbling menacing rap lyrics while we try to take phone calls, while he ignores three quarters of his job responsibilities.

Guess what: he's still not fired, or meaningfully disciplined in any way.

However, when I mentioned one thing about how someday when I finally pay off all my mom's bills, I'll probably just kill myself since I'll be old and worthless by then, they made me go to mandatory counselling.

How bad is it that I already thought of this? I was thinking about quitting because of the hostile work environment, but then I realized I already want to die in my sleep every night and that my mom would be set for life if I got killed at work. My company already gives me a 50k life insurance policy for free.

The bad attitude and mumbling rap lyrics sounds a lot like a coworker I knew years ago. He spent the whole shift one day ticked off at nothing in particular, acting like a wigger and throwing wads of paper at the supervisor. Great environment.
