I'm from Texas so I'm well aware. However, Rangers were specifically rebutting this:

No more or less than any other team that has these things made in anticipation of an event.

I think it would be epic to see both these teams make it past the Divisional round and have to face each other one last time.

Come on Yankees, this is going to be the one and only time in my life that I root for any team from NY, but I'd rather the Royals face the Yankees than the Astros

At least the Red Sox finished in last place. And if only the Twins had made the Wildcard game instead of the Astros, the Yankees would be advancing then!

Just happy the Yanks made the postseason, honestly, which is sad when expectations are that. Alex over performed which was great to see this year, bullpen was way too taxed etc... Cashman needs to open his fucking pocketbook and not be a jew and get some shit done this off-season. At least Bird, Severino, and upcoming Judge in RF will be huge pickups. Really needs to find a #2 starter, and I also wouldn't complain if they finally got Tanaka operated on so he can be dominant again like he was. Dudes fastball is nowhere near what it used to be.

Lol what? Lack of spending money isn't the Yankees problem. Wasting that money on old veterans that get hurt a lot seems to be a bigger issue. Yankees still had the 2nd highest payroll in the MLB this year

2015 Payrolls And Salaries For Every MLB Team

1. Los Angeles Dodgers $272,789,040
2. New York Yankees $219,282,196
3. Boston Red Sox $187,407,202
4. Detroit Tigers $173,813,750
5. San Francisco Giants $172,672,111
6. Washington Nationals $164,920,505
7. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim $150,933,083
8. Texas Rangers $142,140,873
9. Philadelphia Phillies $135,827,500
10. Toronto Blue Jays $122,506,600

I find it interesting that only 2 of the top 7 payrolls made the playoffs (Dodgers and Yankees)
