Is going down 0-2 at home a thing in baseball? Do teams make it back from that sort of loss?

Last time it was done was 96 when the Yankees beat the Braves. So the short answer is no. I think the bigger issue for the Astros and they need to rely on Grienke to pitch lights out in GM3 and he doesn't have good postseason numbers (including this year).

The home team going down 0-2 in a World Series, and still winning has happened only 3 times. '96 Yankees, '86 Mets, and then sometime back in 30s. So the odds aren't great.

That's league crisis management right there.

MLB should thank all the gods that he wasn't rambling about China. So he dropped a couple of f bombs in a clubhouse at reporters. If a reporters can't handle that, maybe they should consider a different career path. Jesus christ, hypocrisy of the US media. I wonder if he had been fired if the reporters were men? Probably not

He got fired because the initial reaction from the Astros was so bad that they had to overcorrect to make up for that. Fairly certain if they hadn't outright dismissed the initial report he probably would still be employed.

Although I am generally against anything like this, especially when it comes from a bunch of "victim card playing women", this was pretty tone deaf on this guys part. Gotta be smarter than that.

playing a world series game for your 21st birthday rates pretty high as 21st birthdays go

Dude just got sacrificed because MLB is a bit of a bubble, the "elite" are super SJW. The fact is, the Astros could have just stood on the first statement. I mean, who the fuck knows what some random bracelet a girl has on means? There's no real way to prove the guy was "targeting them" and frankly if it was because the guy had some previous beef with these women who cares? The media are acting like the guy just raped her in front of everyone. Not said a few harmless indirect words. it's beyond silly

My childhood friend is actually an assistant GM at an NL team. I'm curious to ask him about it. My guess is the guy was really not liked tho.

Alright, I've got my prediction. Goes to 6/7 and only 1 home game won.
