Look, I hate the Red Sox, but haven't they won 3 World Series in that time? I think that's two more legitimate ones than the A*tros have won? No?
Edit - They've won 4: 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2018.

The Red Sox were interesting in that three of those teams were pretty different from each other, including three different managers. Ortiz was on three of them but that was one of the few constants. The 2004/07 teams really had nothing in common with the 2018 team. They also had some pretty shit seasons between some of those. I tend to think of dynasty teams as having a similar core throughout their run. The Giants feel more like a dynasty than the Red Sox.
