You didnt hear Reynods say "CHAPMAN HAS MISSED 6 STRAIGHT FASTBALLS".

Its the same god damn thing that happened to Lidge vs Pujols. Lidge couldn't locate his fastball so Pujols sat on Lidge's slider and then sent it into orbit. Accept that Chapman failed. Period.

Yea, that happens all the time in Major League Baseball. What the fuck does that have to do with whether or not the Astros were cheating?

The logic is clear dude. Chapman threw a bad pitch, so Houston was clearly not cheating.
If the Astros lied to Manfred, and were caught, then their immunity would be thrown out of the window.

Yankee fan is looking for a reason to why their team failed, and sucking up any fake news and continuing this buzzer bullshit.

You lost, get over it.

You are in the belief that they continued to cheat in 2019. They have admitted that they did not, and been exonerated beyond 2017.

No Buzzers, No Cheating, Beating the Yankees.

OJ being acquitted at his trial confirmed he didn't kill anyone. I'm sure it had nothing to do with them not exactly investigating particularly comprehensively. I'm sure there's no chance the league would have just continued to ignore the whole thing if the Atlantic and Jomboy didn't make it basically impossible. I don't know if they cheated in 2019, but I'm pretty sure your dudes are going to be looked at very poorly for a real, real long time.

Yeah, we probably won't ever know for sure until maybe some of these guys are retired and start talking or write some memoirs, but it is a little hard to believe they voluntarily stopped cheating in the middle of 2018 for no particular reason.

I am sure it is going to follow all of the 2017 Astros for the rest of their careers and also beyond.

I am sure that the BBWA will hold this, the 2017 scandal, over the head of Altuve when become eligible for the Hall of Fame, and he has the resume to be in it.

I also find it hard to believe that there is not one word of Beltran with his time with the Yankees, aside from what Cora in a post game over in Ireland.

And they should. Rose isn't in and this is much worse.

I don't know about that, but I think it should at least be factored into the equation some.

Really, though, the league and the hall just hate Pete Rose out of tradition at this point. I don't expect anything except continued hypocrisy there.

There's a lot of players speaking out against the cheating. It'd be interesting to see if there's certain teams that are more quiet than others. But as Lance Armstrong showed quite well, vehement denials don't necessarily mean anything.

The Hall of Fame question is interesting. It probably will hang over some like Altuve and Bregman. Simply the aura of it is enough to not get in (there is a long list of players from the steroid era that are never named as using but have no chance of ever getting in). I guess a lot of that would depend on what happens going forward. Both of those guys are relatively young so they got years to I guess rehabilitate the effect this has on their careers.

I agree Pete should be in the hall but he has burned a ton of bridges plus is a habitual liar.

So DodgersBro. Are you going to welcome Betts and Price into your loving arms, or are you gonna demand them to give back their 2018 World Series Rings?
