Why the fuck is this idiot negotiating through the media?
It doesnt work and never has. All you have to do is look at Mayweather.
The guy cant even read at a 3rd grade level, but he is no fool when it comes to marketing himself and his brand.
He was a fantastic fighter, undefeated, up and coming, getting highlights on SportsCenter, magazine shoots. he was known as "Pretty Boy" Floyd. He used this nickname because he never got hit during fights, and still looked pretty after the fight or whatever. A cool little fight gimmick, but his slick boxing style and "pretty" moniker werent getting people to tune in.
What did he do? he didnt cry about the money he was making, he simply understood that the only way to make more money, is to get more ticket sales and PPV buys. He switched his persona to a heel, and changed his nickname to "Money" . All of the sudden, he wasnt being nice in interviews, he was flashy, cocky and an asshole to the media and his opponents. Mocking them talking mad shit etc.
What happened? All of the sudden he is a huge draw and 24 million PPV buys later the guy ends up being the biggest box office combat sports entertainer in world history. Jon Jones needs to give people a reason to want to tune in. Like go fucking maniac in the gym and start "leaking" pics of your jacked physique, embrace your "wild side" and start doing publicity stunts. Start disrespecting Ngannou. Crying to the media about money is not it.
