Wait a minute. Did that lady just say that Clay Guida is in the UFC hall of fame? The fuck...?

Edit: I admittedly don't pay as much attention to the UFC as I used to. Apparently there are different "wings" in the UFC HOF, and Guida and Diego Sanchez are in there from their fight.

isn't guida the longest veteran on the roster? since 2006

earlier fights were interesting 2 sleepy night night subs, a last second ko and woman got dropped, height difference was so freaky it was like mark hunt vs struve

Johnny Rico is legend.

Why the fuck would Overeem fight Verhoven for a title? I get that he wants to make moneys, but to come back to kickboxing and challenge the reigning and recognized world champion?

I guess the striking promotions are desperate for revenue. They just offer Overeem a title shot with zero regard for any of the other fighters on the roster. Verhoven is a fucking savage and will wipe down Overeem quick. Badr Hari couldnt beat him in the times that they faced eachother, basically no one has been able to figure Verhoven out since he won the title. He has lost ONE fight in 10 years, and it was a bullshit decision to some slant deep in the heart of China.

He is on a 14 fight streak having washed everyone they put infront of him. Overeem is going to get blasted into retirement.

Gotta be a cash grab fight. They know and I think Reem knows he doesn't have what it takes to earn a shot at 41-42.

They could have done a Badr Hari rematch first. But I guess that doesn't work for a title eliminator because of the wins Rico has over Badr.

Sort of lame because Glory's roster is rock fucking solid. It's going to be hard to watch Reem just sail in to fall down for a paycheck that he doesn't even need.
