A lot of finishes in the Preliminary Card, do they just make up time if too many fights end early to make the main card start at a set time?

Edit: Also, how come this guy Hakeem Dawodu gets fined 30% of his purse for missing weight by 3.5 pounds, but Chimaev was not fined at all?

yeah mostly fill it with promos, ads and talk. the fine goes their opponent, that is their bonus for agreeing to fight someone heavier.

Womens sports might be the big next thing.
I see it in other sports too... Women are getting good enough at offense but still green at defending while the men are getting way too good at protecting themselves which leads to boring fights, outside of a few insane dudes.

Its like they are a few years behind... and about to hit the golden years.
