Hype is all there is, the only person he beat whose name I actually recognized was Dennis Siver, who is a solid fighter but was picked because he was an obvious mismatch for McGregor.

Yeah if he'd landed one of those dope Mark Hunt walk offs it would be legendary, it just wasn't that kind of finish. Rory wasn't asleep, he was fully conscious and cowering and covering his destroyed nose.

edit: It was interesting and cool to see Sinead live, but now seeing Aaron Lewis live just makes it kind of dumb. Not wanting a mini concert before the fight.

This is not going to be a long fight. Either Mendes gets inside and rocks his world, or McGregor picks Mendes apart at range until he gets desperate and gets finished.

This prefight shit seriously reminds me of some Wrestlemania shit. They set up a super long entrance to the ring so that Undertaker could ride a motorcycle down to the ring and actually have enough room to gun it briefly, and so the walk to the ring would be long enough for Motorhead to perform Triple H's entrance music live without it being cut short. That's where the UFC is heading. Pretty soon they'll be shooting lightning bolts at each other like Undertaker and Kane did.
