Shitty situation for DC really. I can understand not wanting to get fluke KO'd by silva.. but at least try to finish silva on the ground. Fuck that blanket shit. Not a fan of that fight at all from DC.

He had to though. That shit was a lose lose for DC, you either beat up an old man on short notice or you let him knock you the fuck out, which looked to be a very possible threat the few times it was standing.

In round one, a couple times when DC rag dolled Silva, he looked lost at what he should do... then just laid on top of Silva to grind it out...

DC smiled at Silva every time they were on their feet. I bet they had a backstage conversation where DC said he would go light. It was him trying to do little damage on the ground.
