Not sure if anyone is watching Bellator prelims.... but we just had a world class bullshit stoppage. Called due to "Unanswered Strikes", guy was driving for a takedown, never got rocked or hurt and was just ignoring the strikes of the guy defending TD. Ref calls it, guy defending TD can't even walk because he hurt his leg, guy who got bullshitted just stares at the ref and goes wtf?

Stay away from MMA sites if you don't want to know who will win the fights today. The card starts in Sweden in about 20 mins (10:30 a.m. est).

Dude carries himself like an Emilianenko brother in there. I mean, DURING the fight. Just cold and emotionless as they are fighting. Also I picked against him because I made my picks without paying any attention in an attempt to not Grimmlokk myself again=P It is not working so far...

Was really hoping Akira would get crushed.

Matt Mitrione had his contract suspended pending investigation.

"The UFC was appalled by the transphobic comments made by heavyweight Matt Mitrione today in an interview on "the MMA Hour".

Just goes to show it's not what you say but how you say it, re Mitrione. Joe Rogan has been saying essentially the same thing, albeit in a much more PC fashion, since the story came out and no one at the UFC told him to cut it out.

Whole situation is ridiculous anyway since Rogan, Mitrione, et al. are right; there's no way Fox should be competing against women in a combat sport. I'm still shocked the A.C. ended up having no issue with the lack of disclosure about being transgendered, if you want to license them go for it but their opponent deserves to know before agreeing to fight.
