JDS drops his hands late in fights, JDS backs straight out after engagements. This is a bad combo.


I'm basically betting on Hunt's chin + power over JDS chin + power.

It's probably more likely that JDS wins by decision, but I can't get the image of him getting starched late out of my head when I think how the fight will break down.

And you can't compare Cain and Hunt's power=P

Oh I agree on the power difference between Cain and Hunt. I think I am just betting that JDS boxing is able to carry him safely through to a decision. I don't think there is anyway in hell he finishes Hunt.

My point about the 1 shot KO power was the one he tried to hit Rothwell with in the 3rd

And Rothwell just walked through it. Now, Rothwell has a ridiculous chin and I am not sure JDS could walk through that same punch. Maybe I just refuted my own point...

I don't see how JDS wins by decision. Hunt doesn't lose decisions ever, and how does it get to that point? JDS can't walk around the outside of the ring and play the technical boxing game for 15 minutes, he will get knocked the fuck out. If JDS wins this fight it's in the 1st or 2nd after clipping Hunt and finishing the fight with ground and pound, which isn't very fucking likely either. Hunt poses a mountain of problems for JDS stylistically. JDS wins this fight by getting lucky and heavyweights being heavyweights.

Also, I think JDS should win pretty easily. Gonna be rooting for Bigfoot in the main event but I fully expect it to be a one sided slaughter just like the first match.

I like Wonderboy, he isn't a world beater and he tends to gas real bad in the third, but he has a good chin and throws a lot of cool/rare techniques. His arsenal was also way more diverse this time with the hooks to the body and the takedowns in this fight, as compared to when Matt Brown steamrolled him a year ago.

God, Nurmagomedov is a fucking monster, Trujillo isn't good at all, but Nurmy is just tooling him with Sambo.

Smith only tried to take him down a couple times, and was shut down completely each time. I think it may have been a slightly early stoppage, but there was almost no chance Smith was going to recover from that anyways.

Clearly he should not have deviated from his usual Smotherfucker gameplan.

Whitaker was using the same stance Hunt uses, with the lead hand low for faster counterstrikes and the rear hand high to parry. Thanks, JackSlack!
